Coral Beach KTK

Stayed here for nearly 2 weeks back in 2016. Strange dreamlike state of bliss for the whole period. Paid extra for the huts which are extremely basic with no power. Never slept so well and woke up fresh since being a kid. The beauty of this place is that it is isolated and laid back. People will turn up for one day and decide if the vibe is for them which means the party animals tend to head onwards for other islands. Nice being able to all eat at the same times and the food is top notch. Yes its expensive for the area but me and my friend had decided we were content so might as well pay it. A typical day usually panned out as such: Wake up have swim. breakfast.read my book and laze about. Dinner. Coconut. Have a wander around the island which felt like an Indiana Jones adventure. (Amazing discovering other little community resorts scattered about) Would always have a beer (the one with the Elephant label, Klang? in the sea at sunset.Have dinner and get drunk. Chat , play board games. Then repeat. Was the closest I can recall to those child like days where nothing exists or matters outiside the moment. There is minimum power. You get an hour to charge your devices. This contributes greatly to the atmosphere. People have to strike up conversations or read. Word of warning. If you go out on the raft . Make sure the rope is tied to the beach. Soft lad here had to get rescued.
