My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights at Elysia Hostel during our trip to Bulgaria. We picked the place despite some of the comments and we never felt sorry for that. The hostel is conveniently located close to the main train and bus station and walking distance from everything we wanted to see. The hosts are very pleasant people who helped us with anything we needed. Also I would say eventhogh the rooms are not super lux (it's not a 5 star resort you paid for... right?) it was extremely clean and there is everything you need to relax after a long day outside. I would absolutely recommended Elysia for budget stay in Sofia.
