beautiful rooms,   excellent location to sites and restaurants, staff extremely courteous  and helpful.

Location is very central and close to many historic areas and restaurants and bars, place is pristine and outstanding quality, hotel owners treat everyone exceptionally well and go above and beyond to welcome guests to their hotel, rooms are very clean and great quality, one of the rooms was a little small but still excellent, no elevator but hotel helps with bags and anything that needs to be lifted/ delivered to the room, breakfast had fewer options than normally one would see in similar hotels but still sufficient and satisfactory, when we arrived, we were offered tea/coffee and a leisurely stay at the lobby and not rushed to the room; overall exceptionally welcoming; highly recommend this hotel

Really comfortable and clean, nice bar selection and delicious breakfast choices. The staff were really polite and welcoming. The bathroom was sufficiently equiped and in great condition. The location of the house is really the great asset - lots of must-visit places are nearby.

Right at the entrance of Kapana, where you can approach it by car from Tsar Boris III Blvd., is Boutique Guest House Coco. The place is nice, cozy and stylish. The lobby bar has a remarkable collection of single malt whiskeys.

…. I didn't like that they took a photo with a phone of the ID card when registering. It's not right, they just have to copy the data without taking pictures. 
…. The space where the breakfast is held is not suitable for food consumption. They place it in the hallway and you eat wherever you find in the lobby or outside.

… The unpleasant thing is that on Friday night there is a nightclub nearby, from which loud music can be heard at night, but it is not a big trouble. On the other side, this is Kapana the bohemian and artistic district with extensive nightlife.

…. The aroma of Macallan whiskey, which you can drink outside or inside the lobby.

Taste ....
..... Delicious charcuterie, cheeses- the breakfast is modest in variety, but enough and with good quality;
…. I have already mentioned the collection of single malt whiskey, the wine list is also not bad, you can have a good drink if you do not feel like going around Kapana or if you insist on good single malt.
I would be happy to stay again at Boutique Guest House Coco.

The decoration is kind of Victorian and quite well designed, quality of bed, tv, shower, toiletries and airco (very unpredictable in Bulgaria!) is high. Staff is always ready to please! Our room had a problem with the shower and they immediately switched to another room. Our breakfasts (bakery quality croissants, fresh squeezed juice) were free because of this “problem”. Warning, there is only short-term parking in the old city, we dropped off our luggage parked and left our car for two days in Hashovska street, northeast of the hotel.

Guest House Cocò was great. Very clean, kind staff who spoke excellent English and helped with any request I had. The location can't be beat, right between the Old Town and the pedestrian area. I would recommend it to anyone!

We got the train down for a two night stay. Plovdiv itself is a lovely city, some fantastic history, friendly people and great food. It is a real gem. 

We booked into this place as there wasn’t much choice. It was a little more than we were prepared to stay but very much worth it. The location was near the old town and lots of trendy little bars and eating places. 

The room itself was wonderful, very extravagant decor but somehow it worked. There was a little sitting room and an nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly. 

One minor annoyance was that the room was baking, we turned off the heater and opened the window but as we were a block a way from the main road it was very noisy at night. Bulgarians seem to be obsessed with overheating rooms! I wasn’t a fan of the brown bedsheets and towels. 

The guest houses doesn’t do breakfast but there are loads of places near by... unless it is a Sunday. Don’t expect anywhere to be open before 10am or maybe even 11am. 

A good choice, we would stay again. 



Well priced, clean and tidy, with great rooms. Staff are very helpful. It is situated very close to the centre so everything is easy to reach in less than 10 minutes walk. Cafes and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk, 10 minutes at the most.

I checked in last month.The owner was friendly and the price affordable.I found them from the booking website.
Lots of flowers everywhere , I guess its a bulgarian thing , here in Ukraine you don't see as many.

A tiny boutique hotel with very good service, Coco recently opened a cool bar on the street level.

No elevator. Rooms are comfortable and quiet but very small.

A small privately owned guest house, recently under new ownership. We were not sure what to expect because Bulgaria can be a bit third world in places and the star ratings might not always be too accurate. We were prepared for something bohemian, but the hotel and rooms were smart, clean and well-appointed. The owners are very friendly, speak good english and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was continental buffet style and included the excellent local banitsa.
The location is perfect. On the edge of the Kapana with restaurants just yards away and a short walk to the old town.
