Pirin Palace White Apartments

It is excellent for ski holiday, because it is very close to gondola and ski rental shops. Apartment is very big, hot and comfortable. We came by car and parking place is also possible. I would like to thank Bilyana and Alexia. 

we had good time, great communicative and warm hosting! Best location in Bansko. 
The apartment could be maintained better with all the kitchen tools etc and the heaters was average. Anything we asked to fix was taken care very quickly.
Bottom line the apartment is highly recommended!

We had a 1 bedroom apartment at Pirin Palace and it was absolutely beautiful and clean. The rooms were big, the beds were comfy and the décor was modern and nice. We had views of the mountain which was beautiful as the sun was out for a couple of days while we were there. The location for the Gondola is brilliant and there was plenty around us like supermarkets and things to do.

My major problem was the wifi. Absolutely terrible connection unless you went down to the reception which is the size of a cupboard. Also, one of the main reasons I booked Pirin Palace was for use of the Sauna and Steam room after a day on the slopes but when we got there we were told they no longer had either of them. Extremely annoying.

Annoying Little Things

Excellent for ski holiday

PROs: close to the gondola
              lady with the cleaning
              Parking available

CONs: no ski room
               awful drainage in the bathroom (water all over the bathroom when taking a shower)
              you can hear music during the night from the pubs nearby (awful isolation)
               wind blowing at the windows :))
               kitchen could be better equipped

The bad:
We reserved 2 bedroom apartment, but 1 day before we were suppose to go, I got a call from the manager saying that there was a mixup and we will get one studio and one bedroom apartment for the same price. Very disappointing. 
The kitchen doesn't have a microwave, pot or anything to heat a meal in.
The complex doesn't have a real reception or restaurant.

The good:
The rooms are spacious, clean and warm.
The location is perfect, near the gondola, shops, mall, restaurants.
There are extra beds available for baby upon request.

Changed our room type 1 day before checkin, payment with credit card not possible

I went with a group of friends Skiing in January for a week, but only my boyfriend and I stayed in the Pirin. 
On arrival i was pleasantly surprised at the location, it was perfect, very close to shops, restaurants, ski hire shops and the gondola lift. 
The room was spacious, comfortable and warm. The bathroom was a little small, but it still did the job. 
The staff were friendly enough, although they don't speak very good english, if any at all!
The breakfast we were offered at the restaurant next to the hotel was lovely, lots to choose from at a very good price.
The downsides however were, there are quite a fair few steps leading up to the hotel, so if you're not good on your feet this could be a problem. Also the spa and fitness room were a bit strange and off putting, it's very dark and i certainly wasn't going to get a massage down there!

Skiing Splendour

We had been expecting a room similar to what we had seen in the pictures online. On arrival it was quite a different story. Checkin  was simple and easy however the apartment was rather minimal and very basic. The bathroom was a wet room with no glassed in shower. I know this is quite traditional in Bulgaria (my wife comes from Bulgaria) but the photos online show enclosed shower. Given all four of us had 2 showers a day, the space was constantly wet, toilet paper kept getting wet, etc. The apartment was large enough, but with only a single table and 3 chairs we couldn't all sit down for breakfast. The whole apartment was in need of some TLC, remnants of old brackets existed on walls, skirting was coming off in most places, the cheap laminate flooring was not in great condition, only 3 hooks remained on the wall to hang anything up which just isn't enough when you have four ski jackets and four sets of ski trousers to dry off at the end of each day. There were only 3 hangers inside the wardrobe, so luckily the mother in law brought us more. This could be a nice place as it is only a stones throw from the gondola, but it just wasn't nice and inviting to come back to at the end of each day. We visited a couple of other apartments which our friends had rented and they were in much nicer condition with places to store and hang things. There were people from other apartments smoking in the corridor and the smell just came through under our apartment door which was not pleasant. 

disappointed stay

The apartment was very spacious and clean and the 1 bedroom had a great view of the mountain.  It was also very close to the gondola.  Other than that I was very disapointed with this hotel.  The casino was not open, there was not a restaurant in the buidling and the spa looked creepy.  There was an upcharge to use the sauna and steamrooms.  However there was a strip club in the building seemed to be open every night.  The apartment had a kitchenette but no pots, pans or microwave.  I couldn't even make oatmeal.  The staff did not do a thing to make our stay more comfortable.

Inaccruate description

Good hotel, big rooms and very close gondola. in the city center. perfect for skiers. cleaning is average. We relaxed. I recommend this hotel . on the other hand Bansko and ski pists ver crowded and expensive.

The shower flooded the bathroom as no shower screen, fridge broke and leaked on lounge floor. Cleaners melted kids lunch box on hob. Our child collapsed on kitchen chair while sitting on it. Bed in lounge rock hard. Asked for extra pillows, never got them. Nightclub outside apartment, was extremely loud until 4am most nights. Kitchen poorly stocked I.e minimal glasses  tiny mugs  not enough bowls or spoons, no microwave. Staff never seen after day one. Messaged them about the chair, lack of toiket roll and pillows and never geard back. Broken chair never replaced for new one just removed from room.
