We stayed at Hotel Monte Castelo for a few days while exploring Rio. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area and about 5 min walk to the next metro station. The room was clean, a bit small but still okay. The windows went from the bedroom and from the bathroom out into a shaft but it wasn't too bad since we didn't spend too much time at the hotel anyways. The breakfast was really good with some variety, fresh fruit and a different cake everyday. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would stay there again, as we were also very happy with the price we payed for what we got.
