Very average breakfast, nothing natural, industrial products and portions are very controlled. Very cold reception from the owner. Nice house and very well maintained and well located. No climate in some rooms and shared sanitation.

Nice house, well located, very cold welcome for Brazil

The location is perfect close to all the attractions in Olinda. The owner is very welcoming. The rooms have been designed with care and are comfy and spacious with a special character. Good value for money.

Great location and lovely rooms.

We were greeted and treated unkindly. The rooms were fine, but we noticed that there were still some stains and hairs in the bathroom in the corners and on the floor. Nothing wrong with getting wet once, the way is to give the hotel a little hint so that you can notify the cleaner the next time. The thing would have been done for us - if we hadn't talked to the receptionist shortly after, the hotel owner stood with us in the room and made the following comments:

We flew in and booked a nights stay here from the airport at 6am. Heitor (may well be misspelt I'm afraid) kindly let us in well in advance of when we were due and after a short stroll about town, she had our room ready. She was a great introduction to the country... friendly, informative, kind... The room and house are absolutely gorgeous and breakfast fantastic too... Lots of good tropical fruit and some incredible tropical jam made by a lady who helps keep the place. Thumbs up. Olinda is a vibrant start for anyone flying into Recife.

Rita, the owner, is very hospitable and will give you the right addresses to discover this beautiful town of Olinda, comfortable rooms in a very nice little house.

Excellent quality price for this pousada very well located in the historic center of Olinda. Very welcoming owner and speaking perfect English. Bus to Recife and Alto da Sé nearby. Very good and cozy breakfast. Spacious room. Many hammacks. Terrace. Garden. Strongly advised.

Fantastic Pousada.

It is a beautiful house, decorated with excellent taste. The attention is very good, very cordial, the owner always attentive to the needs of the guests. The varied and complete breakfast, with juices, typical meals, coffee, eggs revueltos. Very good location. Definitely I would stay there again.

What: a bed and breakfast 
How was it:  It was great.  The location couldn't be better, central and minutes away from the "Rota de pedestres" which is the touristic route.  The business owner transformed this great big house into a marvelous, charming and beautifully decorated bed and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was delicious.  Rita, the business woman, was very sympathetic and attentive to all guests.

Super location

We stayed for 3 days on our vacation and we were delighted, the inn is beautiful and very comfortable, close to the center of Olinda, restaurants and lookouts.

It is excellent.

We were with my husband from the 26th till today, 28th.We have no words to express our gratitude for the beautiful days we have spent in the house!It is a house that is about 300 years old or less, but made new inside and beautiful!!!It has a privileged location, right in the center of Olinda, on Olinda's oldest street.The cleanliness is a remarkable point, the warmth of the owner and the kindness of the staff, we are very happy and wish to return to Olinda and the same inn.The breakfast is very rich!!!!!Make at the moment, with all the details, the precious cups, pancakes, tapiocas made on the spot, all at 10!It is in the room on the ground floor, it is large and the bed is very comfortable!!!!!!!!It is 100% recommended for those who go to a home that we have a great service for.Thanks for the excellent service we have provided.
