Uiara Amazon Resort

This is a floating hotel, it was rebranded two years ago under the name Uiara. Our hotel was more spacious than any in Manaus we stayed. Very clean, hot and cold water. No problems with mosquitoes. This is all inclusive, so all of the meals, snacks included. Excursions were a part of our package. Staff was fantastic, accommodating my family, and children. I had a massage on the dock beside the Amazon river, My children fished off a different portion of the dock with my husband and caught fish. This is offered at any point during the stay. Many of the staff speak English, which was essential for us, but free Wi-Fi is available and all the staff has Google Translate for any difficulty understanding. I am an early riser and did need to wait a little while for the kitchen to be open for coffee but coffee and a full breakfast begins at 7:30. We were delighted with all of our experience. We were given directions with GPS location to meet at their office in Manaus. They loaded our bags, we took a very beautiful boat 30minutes to hotel. They do say water here is clean to drink from tap because they have filters but we preferred to pay for bottled water (extra cost). Alcohol, sodas, bottled water are an extra cost. I believe the pool may be river water, I smell no Chemicals but have not asked. We have enjoyed the pool time. There is also a trampoline and inflatable bounce house for Kids. We saw wildlife on a night boat tour which was amazing. I highly recommend any of the excursions that we have had so far. Tonight my family will do a survival course with option to sleep in the jungle. I am staying in the room with the provided crib for my baby. I
