It's horrible attendance but the lack of education and kindness reaches absurd levels. I got the hotel door banged in my face because I arrived at the time of cleaning. I recommend that you look for accommodation in other cities so that you don't have to go through the annoyance that is the receptivity of these people. It's the first time in Minas Gerais that I find such a pathetic place and it's the first time that I give such a negative and sincere assessment about such a rude establishment. I tried to get back my old trip account but I couldn't. But it's Giuliano G. Corram from this place. I still have to stay here until the end of the week and I pray to God that I don't have to see the attendants of that infamous place.

Traumatic

We arrived in Extrema by car late at night, hungry and tired. There was little accommodation available but we were sent to this pousana by another hotel. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly. She organized food to be delivered from local restaurant, Renato's Lanches, and showed us to clean and fresh rooms. Our delicious meals arrived promptly and we ate in comfort in the dining room. The pousana provides basic accommodation and is clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the very reasonable tariff. Good coffee, breads, chicken pie and cheese. Basic, but generous and tasty. There is also good, free wifi. All in all a very good experience. Recommended if you have some Portuguese. I was traveling with locals so communication was easy as I only speak English and have very little Portuguese. 

Simple, clean, friendly 

Easy-to-access, low-priced venue, but a little bit more whimsy in the hostel's organization, a little weaker breakfast because it's Minas, and the bathrooms in the rooms need to be more ventilated.

It's a little short of whim

The hostel is simple, looks like a family home and that's exactly the charm of the place. We arrived on time and left on time, no problem. We were welcomed, the room we stayed in was familiar, which means it was huge! It is located on a quiet street in the city, not far from the center. The breakfast was good, with many cakes, we just missed a few simpler things (a type of French bread), but nothing that would harm the stay. The family that gave us is very helpful, very supportive! It makes us feel at home, as if we were part of the family. According to the price we paid, we had a great cost-benefit. Everything was clean and organized, with Wi-Fi in all environments. What I have to complain about is that we received a lot of money.

A good and cheap place

The hostel is very simple, has spacious, airy and clean rooms, but no sophistication. Ideal for those looking for a place just to sleep and enjoy the day in the city's waterfalls and parks. Breakfast is well served with great simplicity and organization. Good service, people are very helpful and the value appropriate for the service offered. It is not far from the center, but depends on the car to access it and make the meals outside. It has parking and accepts pet.
