The hostel not only ticked the obvious boxes such as cleanliness, security and location but was also an enjoyable experience. The hostel is located about 300 metres from icare beach, has its own swimming pool. You can place the essential things such as cash, passport etc in lockers at the reception. The reception area is monitored by CCTV cameras for added peace of mind. In the rooms you also have a large locker able to cater for very large bags. It is always wise to carry a couple of padlocks with you when travelling. The beds in my room Cambuco consisted of 2 sets of bunk beds with 3 levels. The top bunk is a bit steep. The room was clean and you had individual curtains for added privacy and to shut out the lights being turned on. The breakfast was basic hostel food. Bread, cheese, ham, eggs, cake, coffee, tea etc. They also provide a flask of coffee which is always being topped up which is very welcome during the day. There is a kitchen which I didn't personally use which I saw being used by many people. There is also a bar. They also arranged the 3 beaches tour 75R and the Jericoacoara shuttle 100R for me. Like any hostel you have to go with the flow. Overall a happy experience.
