DO NOT STAY HERE! These people (two brothers) are anything but hospitable and are downright weird and creepy. Here is the details account.

1. WiFi. Right before we checked in, we asked if WiFi worked. I explained that I needed it for work and it was very important. They said they turned off WiFi at night (for whatever stupid superstitions they had), but would keep it on for me until at least 2am, which is 5pm in the US, a time when I normally finish work. WiFi turned off 10 minutes after I started working. I went downstairs (in the cold) and complained. He said that his father supposedly turned it off. He turned it back on, WiFi worked for another 10 minutes then disappeared. I went downstairs again, he then said it was something wrong with my computer, and not his fault. My friend who I was traveling with then said that his WiFi also didn't work, so it's indeed WiFi problem and not computer. He then restarted router again. It worked for another 5-10 minutes and cut off again. They broke their promise of good WiFi and I wasn't able to do my work.

2. Freezing room
They put us in a room upstairs with 2 beds. It was freezing. We're asked if the heater worked. He said yes, turned it on and promised that the room would warm up. He also noticed in a smartass way that bosnians are used to sleeping in a cold environment and it's normal. I was appalled by this comment but ignored it. The heater never really great up. It was lukewarm and room never got warmer. They only have is a very thin blanket. I slept 2 hours and woke up in the middle of the night. Couldn't fall asleep until 6 in the morning and only after I put my warm jacket on. My friend slept in a jacket. The only way you could fall asleep was fully clothed. As a result I slept 3-4 hours total and woke up late, losing half of daylight time. They promised warm room, the room was freezing cold and heater didn't work. Again, they broke their promise of a warm room and as a result I want able to fall asleep at a place that supposed to be for sleeping.

3. Shoes off, luggages outside. 
They force you to take your shoes off to get in and don't allow to bring luggage in the reception. It's very cold at the end of November and it was very uncomfortable. They said it's because they want hostel to be clean. What the hell?! We pay money for them to clean hostel. It's a normal operating expense. Forcing your guests to take off shoes to get into the room is preposterous!

4. Shower.
Shower didn't work properly. You had to hold down the metal thingie for water to go through the shower. Water was hot at there beginning but got cold very soon. Shower room was freezing cold. 

5. Drinking water.
They said we can drink water. My friend tried. Water was brown before it got clear. It tasted like chlorine and definitely didn't seem safe to drink. 

6. Reaction to complain
When we complained in the morning, they said that got defensive. One of then asked for a key, we said it was in the room. He went to three room, came back, grabbed it bags and physically rejoiced them from the property, effectively throwing is out. 

7. Price
He charged us higher price than what we found online, explaining that they didn't really accept guests due to COVID and only had private rooms. Price was 30 Euros for both, which is on par with some decent Sarajevo hotels.

8. Reaction to negative review
I left them negative review on Google. They responded with a long, completely fabricated story, accusing me of lies. If you don't believe me, check other reviews.

9. Other reviews
They have great average rating on Hostelworld, but if you actually read the reviews, they are horrible. That makes me think that that rating is fabricated. It's harder to fabricate rating on Google and TripAdvisor. Check out their ratings there. Also, please READ the reviews. They either mention same things I mentioned or worse. One review mentions that one of them sexually harassed a guest, asking her to sleep with him. I don't know if it is true, but judging by their overall creepy vibe it would not surprise me one bit.

These people are criminal and should be shut down. STAY  AWAY! There are so many better options in town.

I assume they will respond to this review with a message full of lies. Again, please read other reviews. If you still decide to go with them, please check everything before you give them money. They charge upfront because they know people would end up being disappointed.

STAY AWAY! Rude, creepy, lying people. Weird rules, no functioning wifi, freezing room.

Me and my friend stayed at this hostel whilst we were in Bosnia for 3 nights and had a great experience. The beds were comfortable and everything was incredibly clean. The owners even printed off our bus tickets and learned us about the history of the country and the plight they had endured. They were very kind to us and we enjoyed some intellectual conversation with them.

Great place to stay.

I stayed at Tower House for 3 nights and had a very pleasant stay! The staff was really nice and even printed out my bus ticket for the following day. The room was cozy and clean! The location is very close to old town which is very good. All in all I was very happy.

Excellent Service

The owner and his family is frightening and agressive. They can literally kick you out. 
We love Balkans and people there but they are denial of hospitality and kindness. You really need to avoid this place.

The worst place I've ever saw.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There is a common courtyard with a table where you can rest. It is very quiet here. Separately, I want to note the very friendly owners of the apartment. They provided all the necessary information and told a lot about the culture and history of Bosnia and Sarajevo.

Highly recommend

My short visit there was an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, I could not stay there for the night – earlier the owners (three big guys who looked exactly the same but at different ages) literally kicked me and my friend along with our things out on the street. Reason: I brought to their attention that the internet didn’t work. Additionally, they hit and pushed us, hurt my friend (they broke her toenail) and destroyed a few our things. So it’s a good place for you if you want to experience an extreme adventure, but if you are looking for a good place for a nice holiday without fighting for survival, every place is better than his hostel. In conclusion, probably it is the worst hostel in the world. But in every room there is a Holy Bible so maybe think twice!

The worst hostel in the world!

The worst hostel I've ever been in my life.  I travel few times yearly, I always sleep in hostels and I've never had situation like this. It'll disgrace you Bosnia and whole Balkans!
We made reservation by booking.com. We wrote an e-mail the day before that we'll be early in the morning and we would like to leave our luggage They answered that it's allright. We came at 7 o'clock and first thay said it's too early. We remainded them our e-mail and then they let us to leave our luggage. They wanted us to pay immidiately so we did. They didn't give us any receipt. We came back after 12 as they said and then everything started. The main guy was really unkind. He told us that if we want to have towels, we have to pay. If we want to leave our luggage after check out we have to pay. If we'll stay a few minutes after check out we have to pay. He was constantly talking about money. In the meantime I noticed that my bedsheet is dirty from blood so we told them. I also asked if there's any special fee for toilet paper because there's none. He said that if we'll use a lot of this he will charge us. There was no hot water. The internet was slow so my friend told them so. My friend said we need it and we paid also for that. The guy said that it's not the internet cafe and then he started to be agressive. He said us to leave the place and we said 'no', because we already paid and he has to find some other accomodation because he's obligated by booking. He said, that he's not going to. He called his friends or family I guess and they threw our stuffs behind the gate. He pushed me to leave. He also threatened us that he'll call his friends and they'll bit us and "f*ck us in the ass" and that he know who we are because he saw ours passports. 
He shut the doors out of my face, I stuck between door and frame. By this he broke my toenail (there was blood) and my sunglasses. They also damaged my friend's suitcase. The didn't get us back full charge we paid. Of course we called the police and they told us that this place is illigal. The guy didn't let the police in and told them that this is a private house - no hostel. We called booking as well but he said to booking that canceled our reservation free of charge. As I said they didn't get us any receipte before so we have no proof except of photos of police and our stuffs out of gate. Booking didn't helped us - they said that they don't belive us we've ever been there, but we're going to prove our point.

If you want to be safe in Sarajevo, don't go to this hostel!

I've never been so happy to write a review: it means I'm still alive and I've brought home the leather marked on my booking. Thank God and for those who don't believe in us, thanks to heaven and earth and all the forces of nature. I've been through moments of great anxiety in this structure, a discomfort behind each other. The first impact was bad. Three very aggressive owners, especially one. I've been charged for parking, while on the local reservation I've been charged for free parking along the way. I've been grateful to God and for those who don't believe in us, thanks anyway to the sky, the earth and every force of nature. Horror movies, but unfortunately it wasn't a movie. Stay away from us.

I would like to write my indignation about this hostel, I booked a room asked that the next day I got the hostel before spending the money for a taxi and lifting the bags up the hill. (the hostel itself is located in the city center, but walking to it is not very comfortable, including with heavy bags). I came,I was seated at the table, I paid for the accommodation, the owners asked where and whether any information in the city. I'm in a mild form asked that the next day I got the bus only in the evening have any opportunity to go back, or at least leave bags in their territory, to which I want to go, but I don't want to go back to the hostel.

Disgusting attitude towards tourists.

To avoid over-exaggerating the cleanliness and health of the place, I'll just say that we were placed in a tired plastic box from which they badly extracted a room, surrounding it with red and thick curtains so that the light wouldn't filter out... the whole place smells, it's badly rigged, the bed isn't a real bed but an uncomfortable, stinking sofa with springs coming out stuck on your back and preventing you from sleeping... the place to spend a night of horror.
