Very nice and helpful staff who picked me up at the airport and gave a tour off the sites on my way to the room. Nice room with all you need for a stay. The hostel is in the very middle of everything and you will find all the sights and restaurants you want just around the corner.

The staff is amazing, very cozy and warm inside. Location is excellent and it’s a perfect hostel for friends trip. Many pubs and stores around it and the ain street is 5 mins away. Defintely recommend!

Very nice place. It is clean, the room was big, great location. You are near the center, with all coffees, bars, restaurants, supermarket at the door. The hosts are great too. The couple that runs the hostel are really friendly and helpful. Thank you! 

Great location. Very tidy and clean rooms. Very reasonably priced. What amazed me the most was the cooperativeness of the reception. He did not hesitate a moment to help us with the booking of our bus tickets for the next day. He even drove us 8 kilometers to the bus station in his own car. 

Super central, probably the best you can find! The family who owns the hostel are SO nice and friendly and VERY helpful! They let us have our car in their garage, and helped us with EVERYTHING! 5 of 5 will be back for sure!

So sweet and lovely family!!! 

Located in very noisy area,lots of pubs nearby.Stayed during the week,luckily pubs shut around 2 approx which wasnt THAT late compared to weekend.

"Funniest" thing is when I ask receptionist(young nice guy),older woman (worker)who is around asks what I have asked+looks at me strangely, as if I had asked weirdest question on Earth. Obviously there was a lot of noise downstairs. I just asked if noise could be heard from room and she was like "no way."Even "funnier" is when musics banging in my room, she smiles in lobby+says roomsreally quiet and theres no noise.Dont like it when people take me for stupid.Id rather them admitting how things are. 

Apart from this,nice receptionists.Loved single bathroom.Love not having whole toilet full of showers, but big bathroom for oneself, which made it cosy+comfortable.

Comfortable bed+desk in room.

Could leave bag for free for couplehours. Afterwards they charge 1 euro per luggage/hour.Dont understand it if not going to be using their facilities.(they didnt like the idea of me staying in the common room using internet either.)

I asked same woman for change and she didnt feel like changing. Night before young guy had offered me change in one currency or the other, so i thought it wouldnt be a problem to change my mind just for a couple of euros . But it seemed like huge problem so couldnt have proper lunch.Woman also informed me wrongly-said i could pay in euros in specific restaurant,in fact i couldnt. Id rather know the truth, once again.



OK. Noisy street and woman who thinks Im stupid (?)

The place is clean, the lady that runs the house seems kind too, but they just can not bully the hosts like i saw them did. If they want visitors in their house they should be prepared for sharing, not making feel the hosts some how intimidated. Its just wrong. But fortunately Sarajevo is just an amazing place and i forgot that i stayed in this place when i got into those beautifull streets

Bad vibes in a city i loved

This hostel has bed bugs. I started itching all over and found bug bites soon on the 2nd night after I sat on the dining room and went back to my room. At first I thought it was mosquitos but realize later it was bed bugs. After I informed the owners, they went to my room and saw with me three to four bugs were walking on my bed. Thats really disgusting! But then unbelievably they blamed me for bringing the bugs to their place! But I was perfectly okay until I came and started getting bites all over my body. And I had to work on my computer so I didn’t go out a lot for the first two days, I just went to supermarket for maybe 15mins and it’s not possible that the bugs are from the outside. I asked for a refund but they refused and told me to leave and gave me only 10 minutes to pack all my things (Because they are afraid that other customers will know). I said they need to refund, then they said they will call the police. I said ok that would be good to have a third person here. Then the old couples suddenly said they won’t call the police and the old man started to beat my head with his hands. I was shocked and took my phone to record his horrible action, then he took away my phone and two of them knocked me down on the floor and started to beat me. The old man even touched my body I didn’t know if he did it intentionally. My head was hurt and I screamed so loud and no body was there to offer help. I travelled alone and was very helpless at that time. I didn’t have a SIM card to call the police. I have travelled to almost 70 countries and that never happened to me before. They just used violence to let me shut up, instead sitting down and talking rationally with civilisation. I was crying. I was very sad and disappointed about the people of this country and I will never come back again. Totally a nightmare.
