Stayed here as part of a tour for 2 nights on motorcycles can't praise it enough the owner and family were lively and made you feel at home. Entertainment on the Saturday night was excellent and had everyone joining in. Great food. Great people. And a beautiful part of Belgium I would recommend this place for all ages.

Two musician-types from Seattle....naturally they put us in their Jimi Hendrix room....this spacious B&B just north of Bastogne in the Ardenne forest is just delightful....they stayed up late to greet us, and offered excellent beers from the Achouffe brewery right down the road to these driving-weary travelers in their super fun bar on the main floor. Wish we could have stayed longer, and kind of sad it was on a Sunday night when we didn't get their regular performances....but we were off to Bruges...where they recommended another excellent B&B, and even made the reservations for us....

You arrive as a stranger but you will leave feeling you have become a part of Sylvie and Alex's family. The welcome you get while you are here is fantastic. A small B&B, with music themed rooms. We stayed in Jimi Hemdrix. On a Friday and Saturday night There is live music performed by Sylvie and 2 other singers. Everyone is encouraged to join in, sing, clap, dance or just tap your feet.
Dinner is cooked by Sylvie and what a cook. Great home cooked food and a lot of it. You won't be leaving the table feeling hungry, just as well as you need a full stomach to soak up the beer. Remember this is Achouffe country, with the brewery just a 5 mins drive down the road where you can do a tour which includes tastings of 4 different beers.

This is one of the most lovely B&B's I have been at. Forget everything you know and expect of a 'normal' B&B. This one is hosted by solid, friendly, typical west-flemish people in the Ardennes. Don't come here to be at rest and write a book. Come here to be absorbed in hospitality, excellent food and very warm atmosphere!

Sylvie and Alex are extremely friendly and straightforward people that directly welcome you at Music City. Sylvie knows how to cook, the in-house dinners are typical solid, delicious Belgian dishes that are served with love. The breakfast is very extensive and contains Neurofen. Why would that be necessary, you ask? First of all, because the hostel is located in the immediate surroundings of Lachouffe, a great Belgian beer. Next to that, Sylvie is an excellent singer! Most Friday and Saturday evenings, a singing performance is given after dinner, where all guests of the B&B are welcome. The atmosphere is amazing, set aside all your embarrassment, dance, sing, laugh and drink along! This means at weekends, you might not be able to go to sleep early, because of the bad noise isolation of the rooms, but you will rewarded with an unforgettable experience!

I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hostel to anyone who is friendly, rock 'n roll and likes people as they are, great solid food and singing. Music City will NOT let you down!

We stayed in the Tina Turner room. It's a really spacious room (2 double beds) with in-room toilet and bathroom. The bathroom had a decent shower and wasn't too small. The toilet was crammed under the stairs towards the 2nd floor and could have been a bit bigger. The window is facing the street but is at feet/knee height, which is a bit strange.
Nonetheless we spent a good night of sleep. Even though it's located next to the village's main road, it's a rather quiet place.
The breakfast is served downstairs and is nothing extraordinary, though the owner will gladly prepare you some fresh eggs (which are great!) and you'll surely be satisfied.
The biggest plus of this B&B is definitely the attitude: just feel at home. Thirsty? Just go downstairs and grab something from the fridge.
