Everything was perfect and in line with our expectations. The reception was warm and friendly, with all the necessary explanations given very clearly when we arrived. Lore was always available and listening, answering all our questions. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners were as delicious as they were copious, with several homemade products (including the tartar dough... which we now have the recipe for!). It was very enjoyable. All while being corona proof. Coin very quiet, but with not too much to do around by bike, walk or car. An overwhelming weekend!

Resting in a quiet B&B with a great hostess

We just returned to Brussels from a 2-night stay at the Lisdodde Bed & Breakfast in Lissewege.  Even though we were only there for two nights, we felt so relaxed and rested as if we had spent an entire week there!  The accommodations are very comfortable and the rooms are very tastefully appointed.  It is a quiet and restful place to stay in Lissewege and just a short walk from the train station.  Our hosts, Lore & Kurt, were so kind and helpful and are always available if you need their assistance.  They serve a very delicious breakfast outdoors which features several food items that they have prepared themselves.  We simply cannot recommend this little B & B highly enough if your travels should take you to Lissewege.  We cannot wait to return there in the future.

A jewel of a Bed & Breakfast in Lissewege, Belgium

In July, I along with 8 friends stayed at Lisdodde for 2 nights after camping for 5 nights at a music festival. This was such a fantastic place to stay and Hannelore was so helpful and welcoming when we got there. The gardens are extremely well maintained and so picturesque, the pond and animals really added to it. The hot tub was also a massive factor in us booking and it definitely didn't disappoint. Lisdodde is situated in a quaint little town where everyone is extremely helpful and friendly, with amazing scenery and is only 12-15minutes away from Bruges by train, so we were able to go for a day trip. The only complaint that any of is had was that we weren't there longer! In no way can my post do this place and Hannelore justice, you really need to see it with your own eyes, which we will definitely be doing again soon! Thank you so much Hannelore!

Fantastic accommodation

Beautiful old house in the centre of the village, close to a restaurant and bike paths giving you access to very nice walks. The room is very quiet and very comfortable. Our hostess is charming and always smiling. Beautiful breakfast in the garden. In short: everything is perfect: thank you very much. We'll be back.

It's a great reception.

For the house: our room under the roof was generous and modernly furnished. It could have been a little cleaner and the beds were not really comfortable. Overall, it is also a little light-hearted. But there are some undeniable advantages: after the friendly reception, after the long drive, we were able to relax first in the garden's hot tub. The host qualities of the owners are very good and allow us to overcome the smaller defects already described. Tea and coffee can be taken at any time, a cupboard with other drinks is available for self-service and you had to enter the consumption in a list. Next to breakfast you get a lot of information at the large table conversations. Even at the table you have a fresh, tasty and delicious atmosphere of coffee.

Very nice host

A simply stunning house set in a lovely peaceful village. We spent a couple of nights here and found it just perfect. The hostess could not have been better. I've stayed in many places all over the world- The B and B Lisdodde has got it just right. The place itself is set in a pretty village easy to find, fantastic for access to Bruges and the ports.
Quite simply I don't think we could have asked for a better stay. Thank you

Stunning place, perfect hosts

Very nice place in a quiet environment. 
The village of Lissewege is pretty.
The owner is very friendly and makes you feel home.
It is ideal for a weekend in order to enjoy the coast nearby.
The rooms are very well decorated and invite you to relax and rest properly.
Even if the weather is not nice, you cannot be disappointed by your stay.
On top of that, the breakfast is delicious!

good place to relax

What a fantastic place. Such a friendly and welcoming hostess and excellent facilities. Our 17 month old daughter loved playing with all the toys provided, especially the playhouse. Our room was incredible, with an amazing, massive shower and immaculately furnished throughout. There was a small bedroom off our bedroom and adjoining the bathroom which had in built night lights, bunk beds with attached bed guards and incredibly comfortable mattresses. And much to our delight, no windows (a plus for the summer with young children). In the morning an incredible breakfast is provided in the main house and there is a dining room and lounge with microwave and fridge (stocked with local beer, wine and soft drinks) in the guest area. We were able to relax downstairs after putting our daughter to bed, as we brought our monitors with us. We wish we had spent our entire holiday here as it was perfect for day trips to Bruges and would have been fine for a day trip to Brussels (about an hour away). I think we will probably head back one Summer to take advantage of the seaside and better weather, especially in Oostende which is only about 20-30 mins away. The outside eating area and BBQ would also be a must for the summer. We cannot rate it highly enough!!

Wow, couldn't ask for more!

We particularly enjoyed the family-friendly and friendly atmosphere and the special bicycle service. The accommodation is located directly on the Flanders bicycle route. Rooms are well equipped and new. In addition, you can sit very nicely in the generous garden with a wide view of nature. There is a possibility of a barbecue.

Family B&B

In an old farmhouse beautifully and comfortably restored (2011), a warm and friendly welcome, very pleasant by the housewife. Excellent breakfast, dream bed, beautiful room area. The village of Lissewege is beautiful, quiet and ideally located between Bruges and the coast... We will return, often if possible :-)
