A lovely, very friendly, quiet, family run B & B [Gasthaus] located in the district of Liesing at the edge of the Vienna Woods. Four of us stayed there for a week in October and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The rooms were spotless with en suite facilities, well appointed, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi etc. The bar/restaurant purveying first class beers, wines and tradition Austrian food. Transport links to the city centre were good with local buses to the rail station at Liesing only a 10 minute ride away. The bus stop being only 30m walk from the Gasthaus. Werner, our host, spoke good English and was a walking encyclopaedia of Vienna and the surrounding area. Anything we needed to know or were not sure of he always came up with the goods. Whenever we are back in Vienna this will always be my home for the period. A gem in the Vienna Woods
