K&T Boardinghouse 

Vienna was city # 2 on our 4 city travels through Central Europe and was planned almost 5 months in advance. There main determinants of our stay were: - As near a central location as possible (budget permitting) - Clean and comfortable - Budget friendly Hotels in the central part of Vienna are very expensive. After researching for almost 2 months, we decided on staying at K&T Boardinghouse due to the following factors: - Good reviews on the internet, justifiably so - Excellent location, right off Mariahilfer strasse, the main shopping street in Vienna - Excellent connectivity by buses, metro, trams etc, one can reach the city center in 10 minutes or most of the other tourist attractions like Schonbrunn / Belvedere palace etc in about 25 minutes by bus / tram. One can even walk to the city center; it is a 30 min walk - Clean, large and functional rooms - Easy connectivity to Vienna HBF (central station), a 20 min taxi ride away - In case you need, she will also do a laundry load for EUR 19 - Quite location even though the room was located very close to the main shopping street. We slept very well - There is a kettle in the room to make tea / coffee - Breakfast is not included - Plenty of good restaurants in the vicinity for breakfast / lunch / dinner - The landlady Tina is very responsive and helpful, and gives plenty of tips on touristy things to do and places to eat - Last but not the least – very budget friendly All in all, we are very happy and would gladly stay there again!
