Wombat's City Hostel Vienna Naschmarkt 

I stayed in a single sex dorm room for 6 people with en-suite room. Each bed had privacy curtains, own plug socket, light and small shelf making it very convenient and private. Each bed has a safe box and fan; when on the top bunk the position of the fan is a bit annoying as kept knocking it when going up and down the ladder though I’m guessing that if it were the summer I would be grateful for the fan. The hostel feels safe and secure with card access to the corridor and rooms. The same card opens an assigned locker in the room that is large enough for a carry on suitcase. The kitchen is small though functional with all required equipment. There is a dining/breakfast room. On one of the days I bought the breakfast buffet and thought it was good value. There is a cafe and additional seating area in the ground floor as well as a bar area. These separate zones provide the opportunity for people to mix/socialize if they want to, and also be able to have some personal space if wanted. This hostel would suit both people who wanted to meet others and those for whom that is not important. Location is convenient, aldi supermarket next door, the snack market on opposite road, next to a metro station and only 15 min walk to the historical district. I would stay here again and would stay in other branches.
