Villa Luef

There is a small village calls Mönichkirchen about an hour driving from Wienna amog the wiener alps - with just some small houses but millions of flowers - with a small old fashioned food shop and coffee shop and all the needed facilities for skiing for beginners for kids and for all who doesn't need the highest hills with black marked slopes . Here you can find Villa Luef which used to be a school by the side of the local curch but has been renovated - to old fashioned outside but modern inside with 5 apartments. If you prefer the silent places far from crowd beeing together with local people to enjoy the local food Our apartment was on the first floor ( no.8. ) with a view to the curch and to a small coffe-shopon the other side of the road. We had 2 rooms ( one for the kids with a sofa bed and one for us for 2 adults ) and for our dog - because this is a pet friendly accomodation . The apartment is new and clean - the bathroom is very new fashioned - very very clean with a shower and toilet . Small kitchen provides freezer a table for 4 all the necessary staffs like cutlery sets , glasses etc, a water heater , toast maker and an electric hot plate . We didn't use them as we preferred the local foods but perfect service for a skiing or trekking holiday Inside the house is extremely clean - probably because you should leave your shoes and boots on plastic trays on ground floor . The owners Christina and Csaba are extremely kind and helpful if you need help or advise what should you visit where you should eat or where should have your breakfast - they can't offer food locally - but there are 2 coffee shops in about 200 m walking distance where you can buy or where you can have your breakfast from an easiest continental type of breakfast till a lucullus type of breakfast with hot and cold drinks with local bakery staffs with cheeses or even with special hams. There are several restaurants which can offer lunch and dinner as well within 500ms walking distance . This village and Villa Luef is a must visit place in a family trip or in a skiing holiday which is very close to Vienna or to Graz
