Pension Pleikner

We returned to the Pension Pleikner again this year. We absolutely love this place and it was good to go back. Brigitte and Norbert are the perfect hosts and are always very welcoming. So what had changed since our last visit? Well, most of the rooms have been updated with new bathrooms and room furnishings. The breakfast area has also been modernised as well. So why stay here and not somewhere else in Millstatt? Firstly, the location is impossible to beat. You are right in the centre of the town and next to the lake - the views from the breakfast terrace across the lake are simply amazing. All the rooms have a balcony, most of them are lake facing. Norbert takes great care of the gardens. His knowledge of exotic plants is really quite impressive. We will certainly return next year - a great choice for Milstattersee and the surrounding area.
