Meriton Suites North Ryde 

Stayed 2 nights. First night booking (Saturday) was initially via phone at 1847 hrs and suffered AI assistant ‘Opal’. Many repeated errors during our ‘conversation’ and although the booking was finally made (via Opal), we never received the booking confirmation email due to completely incorrect email address (lost in AI translation). This despite me trying to rectify the email address with Opal. Apparently, Meriton have real humans in the booking team during business hours. When booking outside ‘business hours’, strongly recommend online booking process via their Eminence program (best rates on line) and skip the AI voice. Regardless, our overall experience was extremely positive. The two reception staff on duty at North Ryde (Yun & Anurag) were OUTSTANDING! They resolved all the AI generated booking issues and looked after my wife and I brilliantly under our difficult circumstances (gravely ill pet delivered to SASH). They are commended for their customer service, understanding and empathy. BTW: I ended up booking Online via the Eminence program on Sat night and then again for Sunday night, with Yun’s suggestion and help. Our stay was perfect. Nice one bedroom studio apartment, well appointed, clean, quiet and good location (including a large shopping precinct with many food outlets to choose from). Finally, the morning staff (Qiana and Taylor) were also VERY obliging and helpful. Once we explained our circumstances, both of them were VERY empathetic and helpful. Once again, making us feel as valued guests. Both teams should be commended for their customer service. We’ll be back.
