Stanley Lakeside Spa Cabins

The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice  ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley.

Great stay. Friendly manager. Easy to find and set on beautiful grounds by the lake. Would definitely recommend.

It was an amazing experience and the location cannot be better. I will totally return when I go to Tasmania again. The views are wonderful and the sky at night with the milky way is something that I will never forget.

A beautiful setting with lovely views and walking , with exceptionally friendly people in charge.

Rustic charm, beautifully comfortable bedding and the perfect outlook for our 5 night stay. Pet friendly, our budgie thoroughly enjoyed his holiday too! 😄 Only a 5 minute drive into Stanley and a great base for daily sightseeing. We loved our time in the lakeside jetty cabin.

The cabin itself was cute and comfortable. We needed to do a little cleaning (including washing things up before cooking / eating), however it wasn't too bad. It was hot out at Stanley when we visited, but the breeze was lovely when we opened up all the doors and windows. There were so many tiny birds to watch and listen to (despite being so close to the busy main road). We loved being slightly out of Stanley. It was an awkward check-in process (needing to go inside the owner's house at dinner time to pay and get our room key), however we had no further need for assistance during our stay. With some health issues, this was a lovely, relaxing place to stay - if only in bed looking out the window at the view and wildlife.

Family 3-night stay in Stanley

Beautiful peaceful cabin and area. Unfortunately had a problem with nests of bull ants and jack jumpers around the cabin, but the caretakers were trying to reeadicate them.But we couldnt enjoy sitting outside with the dog.Overall it is a nice place and short drive to Stanley town, and 20 minutes to Smithton.Very clean and tidy with everything provided. Owners were absolutely lovel.y and very helpful.

Such a unique accommodation. Quiet, secluded warm cabin right next to a lake with jetty. There is a bath if you like a nice soak. Sit on the lounge suite and look right onto the lake.  A lovely retreat close to Stanley. 2 bedrooms but only a lounge suite for 2 people and no internet, so please be mindful of this.  We really enjoyed our brief stay here.

We had an amazing stay here. Cottage was very comfortable and warmed well for the cooler evening. We had our own jetty and Private outside area with picturesque views. Great for privacy. Quiet and calming. Was also fun to feed fish in pond with food provided. Large fish which jumped up. Also nice walks through gardens down to sea edge. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend for couples wanting time out.

Escape from your busy life

We stayed here near Stanley in a 2 bedroom cosy cabin by the lake.   A walk around the grounds was relaxing. It is only a few minutes drive into Stanley itself if you are after a meal. Apart from hearing quite a bit of traffic noise at night we had an enjoyable stay and would certainly choose to stay here again.

Cute little cottage

I had the best weekend in Stanley with my sisters and niece. Jo and John were fantastic hosts and the cabin was perfect for us. Feeding the fish off the jetty was a hightlight. Such a beautiful peaceful place with lots to look at around the property..Will definitely stay there next time I go that way.

Lots to look at!

We found the cabin to be cosy and comfortable. The surroundings, the lake and the beach over the back were beautiful especially at sunset. Jo is a lovely lady and made us feel very welcome. The salmon even made an appearance for us after some perseverance. A short drive into town and some gorgeous sites to be seen.

Great cabins in beautiful gardens close to Stanley. 

The cabins have everything you need with the most beautiful sunsets over the lake. 

You are about 7km from Stanley and a bunch of dining options.  If you prefer you can buy what you need from the supermarket and use the room kitchenette instead. 

I woke up to the quiet sounds of the ocean and mooing cows in the distance. Very relaxing indeed. :-)

The cabins make a great base for all that the region has to offer. 

I would definitely stay again. 

Clean, comfy and perfect

We choose this cabin as it is pet friendly and reasonably close to Stanley Main Street , we were meet by Jo on Xmas day and shown to our cabin which was very clean and all amenities included. Our small frenchy had a great time as there is only one other cabin which are all secluded so she was able to run around off the lead. 
We did day trips which were all amazing and the last day visited and explored Stanley a lovely little town. We and our dog had a great time at the cabin and recommend if travelling with your fur baby .

Very relaxing 

A lovely spot to retreat to after a day sightseeing. It's all little way out so if you're going to cook you'll want to stock up. The kitchen is equipped for the basics. Restaurant selection in Stanley is pretty good though.

Cabins is comfy & while we didn't need heating, it would have been warm had we needed to turn it on.

Great spot for children. Our 5yo loved walking around the lakes, feeding the (enormous!) fish & going to the inlet beach at low tide.

Location is handy especially if you go further afield then Stanley in the day, but it is a little noisy with traffic at times as its next to the only main road into town. (Not something that the owners can do anything about)
