It is a great stopover motel with a beautiful husband and wife management team, ensuring everything goes well without issues. Excellent Swimming Pool and BBQ facilities

New owners are lovely caring people.  Can't do enough to look after their guests.

Super friendly staff, dated but clean room with all the amenities required. Very quiet location with easy access to room from the carpark.

Very reasonably price accommodation. Room was very clean with all necessary facilities. The staff were very accommodating & very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Offered in room dinner. Would definitely stay there again.

Very friendly and accommodating new hosts. Was a problem with A/C heating. Adequately sorted by host providing temporary heater until fixed. One suggestion. There were rat bait boxes positioned outside each room. No reflection on room cleanliness, but not a good look. Suggest move elsewhere. Made me concerned to leave front door open when moving in and out.

Business in Parkes

Good clean comfortable budget motel. We stayed 2 nights whilst we attended the Elvis festival in Parkes which was a 30 min drive. The lovely lady in reception was very helpful. The room had a microwave and was air conditioned which was great as it was very hot. Good parking off street. The room was clean and comfortable.

Good motel in Peak Hill

A clean large room with a comfortable king bed and double bunks grandchildren. David and his wife were very friendly hosts. Plenty of tea and coffee and milk as well as microwave oven in the family room. Thoroughly recommend this motel. We stayed 3 nights and will certainly stay again if we are travelling through the area.

Clean, comfortable,quiet and roomy

It was a typical country motel, nothing flash. The room and bed were comfortable, the en-suite OK and the staff very pleasant. It pays to book directly though because, if you do, you'll get a 20c per litre discount on any fuel receipt you have for that day. It pays to refuel down the road too as they have the cheapest fuel for miles.

Although an older country property, it met all of our expectations.  The Manager/ Staff were extremely friendly and helpful on check in.  Located approximately mid way between Dubbo & Parkes, it was only another 20km to visit the famous 'Dish' outside of Parkes. A short distance to the RSL Club for an evening meal.  Would stay again if in the region

Clean & Comfortable

A clean and spacious room with a King Bed for tubby hubby and me. When booking a reservation directly to this establishment the operator David gave a terrific heads up to cut 30 minutes off our travel time given the after dark arrival time. On check in, we were asked if we had fueled up that day and on presentation of our fuel receipt $6.20 cash was given to us at the counter as a sort of goodwill gesture for booking directly with the motel and not using an online agency. Additionally a generously portioned cooked bacon and eggs with toast breakfast cost only $8.50. A nice touch was the water buckets with windscreen scrubbing brush placed outside the blocks of units.  David also provided country style advice for limiting wildlife (kangaroos) carnage when driving at night - turn your lights off for a second to break the “dazed and confused” state of the ‘roo giving it a moment to collect its wits and bound away. I am not sure that I could react quickly enough or be brave enough at 100 kms per hour to try this but country folk know country risks. Make time to chat as David has pride in his business and information worth knowing if you are a tourist unfamiliar with the area.
