I stayed at the Citrus motel for a week,With work.The staff were helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were spacious and clean.I will definitely stay again when in the area.

The staff and team here at Citrus Motel are exceptional. Monty and his team went above and beyond to help on my stay here.

I arrived late on a business trip and they organized a late check out and personally helped me with my requests too.

Nothing was a problem for them. The rooms and bedding were great too.

The first impression of this motel was the unclean state of the pool which seems to be the centre piece of their advertising. It was green and the walls were clearly dirty. No way would I swim in this pool even on the 36 degree day when we arrived. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were clean and functioned well. The coffee mugs had rings in them from not being cleaned properly. The fridge worked well, even froze our esky blocks and kept the food nicely chilled. The area was quiet and close to dining options.

I was desperate to find anything clean with A/C during stifling heat.This place is older, but it’s clean and comfortable with out me having to sell a kidney to fund the stopover.The owners were most helpful and accomodating, whereas everything else was closed, or too far from shopping and costly. Excellent value for money!

Exceptional Service

We booked this room for 2 people but amenities were lacking.  I first noticed that there were only 2 pillows and no spare blanket which we had been using on this trip for almost 3 weeks from Victoria to Queensland and return.  We managed but did have to ask for another pillow and dinner plate then noticed there was only 1 set of cutlery, 1 knife, 1 fork, 1 desert spoon, 1 tea spoon.  Asked for another pillow as I need 2 and husband needs 1.  After asking for another pillow and dinner plate which we needed then to discover other things missing.  Shower head was a bit mis-directional, needs replacing.

Could have been better.

The room was neat and tidy, the staff were very friendly. The bathroom was dated and the fan didn't work, and therefore there was mould on the ceiling. The shower pressure was a bit low. The kitchen was clean. The air con worked well on a very hot day. The pool was moderately clean. All in all, good value and we would stay again.

Although this motel's decor is a bit dated, it is well priced, clean, good beds with friendly staff.  It has a swimming pool, which we didn't use and has breakfast available if you want it.  Liked that the windows had secure shutters to block out light and/or noise.   I would definitely stay here again.

Budget friendly motel

Parking is a little tight, couple of three point turns, and watch your car doors when opening, but achievable....
