The style of the property was lovely. Room size was a bit tight in that there was no room to put our cases down and open, but the shower was insane and completely made up for this. We only stopped over for a night but in retrospect we would have liked to spend longer. A great place.

Very smooth experience from check-in to the check-out. Conveniently located right next to the town centre and a great place to wake up with nice views. Cleanliness was well maintained. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I can't wait to be back in that area.

Communication prior to arrival was excellent with clear instructions for self checkin. On arrival room was lovely & warm. Room was clean & comfortable. Not huge but all we needed . Bathroom huge & well presented. Towels soft & fluffy. Bed was so comfortable . After. 10 hour drive it was wonderful & we slept well. Location is close to cafes & great Thai restuarant. Only downfall are the stairs & having to carry the heavy bag for our age up them. However be aware & do not let this detract if you cna do stairs

The Bright Velo Hotel is in a perfect location to stroll into town and everything in Bright.We stayed in the Gimondi-Queen  Suite. The room and amenities was very clean and comfortable bed.  The bathroom, especially the handbasin was very limited in its size and kettle was very hard to fill due to this being so small. 
The outside of our Gimondi-Queen Suite was a real eye  sore and needs a paint. 
Instructions were clear and were sent well ahead of our arrival.
Will stay again but will opt for an upgrade room.

Great location.

This cozy, recently furnished apartment in the heart of town was a pleasure to stay in. It was easy to find, with ample on-site parking and a simple digital door lock for entry. The layout was well-designed, featuring a comfortable double bed, a sofa, bar fridge, and coffee and tea amenities, along with a space to hang clothes and store luggage. A small dining table and chairs completed the setup nicely.While I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The en-suite, while clean, had low water pressure in the shower, and the compact vanity made washing up a bit challenging. Additionally, sound insulation could be improved; I could hear neighbors and some noise from the nearby road, though it wasn’t too disruptive during my stay.Overall, this apartment offered excellent value, and I would happily stay here again!

Well equipped small room, including coffee machine. All in good condition.Disappointments included comically small wash basin with no space for toothbrushes/paste and other usual bathroom items (eg: shampoo), no platform in shower enclosure for soap etc, very cheap toilet paper requiring doubling of sheets to be usable, no toaster.

The property was conveniently located, had parking and a comfy bed. However for the price the room could be made better. Little things like a bedside lamp and shelving in the bathroom would’ve made for a more comfortable and convenient, instead of having to do things like have a shower in the tiny shower then walk in and out if the bathroom to access the rest of my toiletries as there was no where in the bathroom to put anything not even a bar of soap.

We frequent Bright at least twice a yearly, usually with our camper, but sometimes we use a motel and like alternate our choice so this is our first time staying at Velo. Tim was there to assist us with direction and code pad usage etc ... what a beautiful place to stay the room was not overly big but all the room we needed and renovated with the best choose of fixtures and the bathroom was devine, those tiles are stunning, thanks Hotel Velo you will be seeing us again :)

Bright Velo was perfect for our short MTB trip as a family. Great location right in town and easy ride to Mystic shuttles. Very clean with ample amenities and storage. Naomi was very welcoming on arrival and directed us to our room. Other staff on site very pleasant and helpful also. Little bit of noise from the outdoor bar area outside our 2 bed apartment from 4pm but it dies down really early and it didn’t really affect us at all as we were so tired from our days riding Mystic. The laundry, secure bike room and wash area were incredibly handy.

This was our third stay at the Velo and just as exceptional as our previous stays. We had two rooms in the Mystic Wing which seemed to have had a recent update. The rooms were scrupulosly clean,with plenty of towels. Beds were super comforable and again super clean.Check in instructions were clear and sent well ahead of our arrival. You are but a short stroll from everything the town of Bright has to offer. Great parking.
On the morning of check out we met the most delightful housekeeper who happily showed us around the newly refurbrished areas of the hotel. Attention to detail was very luxe but warm and inviting.
Previously we had stayed upstairs in the main building which has been extensively renovated so we are aware as to how the Velo had previously looked. Have also stayed in a two bedroom apartment.
Central to everything and pleasing to see the amazing upgrades and development of this quintessential Victoria hotel.
Looking forward to our next stay!

Delightful!

We stayed in the Merckx room (named after cycling great Eddie Merckx). Pleasantly surprised by the size of the lounge room and kitchen, huge balcony and the three bedrooms - two with double beds and two with single beds. To top it off there was an abundance of tea and coffee options available. Was so peaceful. Will definitely stay again - and for longer!

So we stayed for 2  nights at this absolutely gorgeous hotel. From the moment we walked in we felt we had arrived at home. The rooms at the hotel are something else, and our room (room 1) was the ultimate in understated luxury: from the fabulous double shower, to the cosy living area and the comfy bed, all furnishings were carefully selected to create that feeling of 'being at home', without being over the top. For the guests there is also an upstairs sitting area with coffee, tea and reading materials. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant were the staff was very welcoming.The process of checking in and checking out was smooth, complemented by a keyless passcode system. We do travel quite a bit through Victoria, stay at many hotels, and for us, this visit to Bright and the Bright Velo Hotel was a standout experience. Thank you so much. Jan & Cath
