Lovely location. Wish that our unit had better cooking facilities as there are no eating facilities within walking distance.

Lovely spot, the apartment open directly onto a beach which is safe for swimming.  Fans and airconditioning to deal with the humidity made it a relaxing stay.

Clean and well-equipped holiday flats in a lovely beach setting. Friendly and helpful staff. A perfect place to get away from it all. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Great hotel, comfy rooms. Pool is small and a family pretty much filled it so we didn’t use it in the end. Horseshoe Bat around the corner has 2 great places to eat and sunset views

All I can say is 'wow what a view'! Waking up to paradise each morning was just amazing. We had a studio room apartment that was literally on the beach. I liked the accommodation as it was a quieter area away from the crowd. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The amazing view from the balcony was breathtakingly awesome!  A wonderful spot to unwind, relax and enjoy the view. Facilities are well maintained and clean. A comfortable stay.

If you want a seaside oceanview place this place is for you and not busy and the balcony that looks out to the bay is beautiful. Swimming in the ocean right on the doorstep and crystal clean ocean great for snorkeling. The only downside was the frying pan and cutlery was put back in the cupboard dirty not washed still had food on them. But everything else was perfect and nice easy checkin and your own car park has a lift so no stairway walks, and if you don’t like open ocean swimming a nice clean pool awaits with bbq..thank you. Will be back

Oceanview no roads infront

What a find - we were desperately trying to find last minute accommodation & stumbled upon Rose Bay Resort & managed to get the last apartment. From now on it would be my first choice.  Location is fabulous right on the beach with no road in front.  Well equipped apartment staff very friendly & helpful (only saw 1 lady who seemed to be a Jack of all trades!)  Great place to unwind - Beach was beautiful with a nice long beach walk at Kings Beach. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to relax & unwind.  Horseshoe Bay just around the corner with a great cafe serving all day into the night for meals if you want to go out to eat. Will definitely be back.  

Great quiet location with beautiful views 

I was looking for a nice quiet and relaxing weekend away to rejuvenate myself.  The room was excellent absolutely loved the view of the ocean from the balcony.  The room was clean, the resort was well designed and clean, the grounds were beautiful, the pool was awesome.  Just loved everything about this resort, I will definitely be keeping it on my list of favourite places to go for a chill out.

Large living areas for all the kids gear. Very friendly and inviting. Our kids loved every minute in the pool, exploring on the beach and surrounding rocks for fish and small crabs. Walking trails are great. The Bowen Parkrun was lovely alongside the beaches.We were grateful to be in a pet friendly unit though our Collie could easily clear the fence. More for small dogs.We plan to come back next year.

Amazing location and so quiet and peaceful ,stunning views from the balcony. Could stay at the resort and never leave with great snorkeling around the rocks at the end of the beach and lovely clean beach to walk and relax on as well as swim. Worth the walk up to the path behind the resort for amazing views over the bay from Mother Beddock lookout. The staff were very friendly and made everything easy with beach towels provided for the 10 days and a room clean half way through our stay. The one bedroom apartment was very spacious with a large balcony and well equipped. Bowen is only a few minutes away for everything you need. (Pizza Hut delivery is available for the nights you don’t want to cook) The nearby (short drive) Grand View hotel did a superb meal with friendly service, the Cove restaurant also only a few minutes away by car did a lovely meal with stunning beachfront views, the seafood from birds fish bar was delicious and for coffee snacks and smoothies we found ourselves heading back to Le Sorelle coffee house multiple times. We have nothing bad to say about this superb resort and location, we flew into Whitsunday Coast Airport where we hired a car for our stay, the drive from the airport is just over an hour.

Rose Bay Resort is absolute beachside and perfect for a quiet couple’s break. Our stylish well appointed suite had a lovely view of Rose Bay’s granite boulders and swaying palms which seemed like our own private little idyllic tropical cove. You simply step out of your lounge, onto your private terrace, over a little sward and your on the white sandy beach. I cannot find fault. Go there!

Stayed at Rose Bay Resort for 2 nights for a quick relaxed getaway. Did not disappoint. Water views and the sound of the ocean right outside your room. Sunrise was stunning. Stayed at the beach most of the day, convenient with your resort room right there. Literally relaxed and recharged the batteries in this beautiful place.

Great location right on a quiet beach.
We had a 1br apartment on the ground floor for 2 nights, cost was $400
Very clean modern unit with everything you need for a much longer stay. Kitchen very well equipped and a full laundry.
Bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
Comfy bed and pillows, big flatscreen TVs x2
Small pool, but big enough to do laps if not too many users.
Public beach with grass and picnic tables right at the front door. I think the locals like it here!
Good hosts, check in and out was easy.
Recommend for couples and families.
Will stay longer on our next trip.

Fabulous!

Another visit to this resort, and it hasn’t disappointed. I had a one bedroom apartment on the second level. It was self contained with everything needed for a long stay. I liked the coffee machine and remembered to bring some Lavazza capsules. 

The resort isn’t new but it’s well maintained and the rooms are clean. I particularly like the private balcony overlooking beautiful Rose Bay. Sunrise is almost always sublime. 

Bronnie the manager is friendly and helpful. It’s a five minute drive to town and supermarket but only thirty seconds to the secluded swimming beach. Will look forward to another visit. 

Location location location

My partner and I absolutely loved Rose Bay resort, and Rose Bay itself which was only a few steps in front of the hotel! Rose Bay resort is in the perfect spot, with lovely rooms and facilities, top notch views from the balcony and very friendly and helpful staff (thank you Paul) - including the lovely border collie! Paul, you were so helpful to us and thank you for sympathising with us about the unfortunate weather. We still fell in love with Bowen and Rose Bay though! We will definitely be coming back soon and plan to stay again like we said - and will try our best to come in the good weather! 
So if you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful area to stay in with friendly hosts please consider Rose Bay resort. Paradise is at your door!
