A nice quiet stay  there on the edge of town. Nice room , warm, quality bed. I would stay there again for sure.
Really nice owners that are energetically keen to make sure that your stay is seamless and comfortable.

A comfortable stop

Booked last minute and were greeted by the friendliest owners, beautiful clean and spacious rooms for an overnight stay.  5 mins from the centre of town, and in a beautiful quiet area of Armidale, cannot recommend this motel more.  Will be back when we do our yearly trips.

Perfect and Friendly

Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable. The booking and check-in was easy and the staff really friendly and helpful. A spare blanket and pillow was good for the cool nights of Armidale. 
There was a table which was handy for working or to sit and enjoy a cuppa.
The only drawback was the shower, it needed more pressure.

Armidale in Autumn

An older motel but very clean. The owners were very friendly and obliging. The bed was fantastic. Firm but really comfortable. The room had electric jug, toaster, iron and ironing board, fridge, tv and air conditioning. Free tea and coffee and soaps, shampoo and conditioner. The towels were lovely and soft. 
The problem we had was the air conditioning unit belonging to the room next door to us. The unit must have been mounted right next to ours and the noise of the motor starting up and running down just resonated through our room. All night we could hear and almost feel the motor speeding up, slowing down, idling, stopping and then starting again. We did not use the air conditioner in our room, so maybe that’s why it was so annoying. We were in unit 5 and the noise was coming from unit 4. 
It was so annoying that we would not stay there again. Sorry!

One thing let it down!

What a pleasure, the hosts welcomed us like we were old friends and set the scene for a very pleasant overnight stay! Very clean and comfortable, the bed was a dream to sleep in, everything we needed was provided in a friendly no fuss manner! Would highly recommend this lovely motel in its pretty rural setting!

Fabulous

This Motel is outside (to the north) of Armidale on the New England Highway. A small motel set back from the Highway it is very quiet and easily accessible. The rooms are on the small side, but the beds are queen size. The bathroom/en suite is also on the smallish side but the shower is very good. The bed is firm and there are  plenty of blankets for winter stayers. No air con but a very good fan and cross ventilation via a secure screen door. Reasonably priced I would recommend this motel for an over night stay.

A small quiet motel

I stayed here during August '18. Coming from Queensland, the cold weather in Armidale was icy. I did not feel it in this beautiful peaceful establishment. I was greeted absolutely lovely. Showed how to work the heater and advised of the electric blanket. Older motel but nothing was lacking. Couch to relax on, could easily have stayed here longer. Loved the bleating goats in the morning as I was leaving. Is on the highway so hear a bit of noise but once drifted off does not affect you & I am a light sleeper.
