Parvana Odjax

Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The rooms very very high standard, a lot of extras, there were even dressing gowns to use. Very clean and new. Food was out of this world, I had borscht and loved it. There dining area is very quirky, somewhat medieval style, totally unexpected when you see the place from the outside. We were a group of three backpackers who just came up from Yerevan and this was such a welcome respite, a great place to recharge. Taxi ride to hotel from train station shouldn't cost you more than a 1000 AMD. Breakfast was included and staff very friendly and helpful although their English was limited.
