Stayed for 2 nights though I had only originally booked the one night. Also intended to stay in El Bolsón but other Trip Advisor reviews took me to the Lodge (avoid the non-tarmac route 46 if you can; the gravel will kill your car). There is a way to get to El Maitén via 100% tarmac roads. Room was lovely - bed fantastic. Owners warm and friendly and food FANTASTIC, with home-made pasta (dinner) and home-made pastries (breakfast). I am sure that if pasta/bread a problem the friendly hosts would sort something out for you. A pleasant surprise in the middle of nowhere (which is what I was after). Worth the El Bolsón detour & the road into & out of El Maitén has some fantastic scenery - big skies, pampa and of course the Argentinean Andes.
