Feliz Guest House 

With a late flight into Surabaya and a morning drive to Bromo the following day, we really just needed a place to crash for the night. We were pleasantly surprised by the size and cleanliness of the rooms. We had a group of 3 and the room had a large Queen sized bed as well as a pullout futon. Wifi is free and there was Cable television as well. Breakfast is complimentary and so much more than a typical continental breakfast. We received hot cups of tea, and a traditional Indonesian breakfast with a hard boiled egg, veggies, meat, and rice. The hotel advertises a driving company to take you to Bromo which I cannot recommend enough. A man named Ferman runs the company and he sent out a driver to us right away. With our plans changing on the way back and needing to get to Surabaya to Bromo we called Ferman again and on short notice he personally drove us back the Feliz hotel. I can't say enough good things about him and the Feliz!
