Stayed for two nights B&B. Great room with comfy bed and delicious breakfasts, great full English and very special porridge, was really impressed with the toaster! Staff were friendly, polite and really helpful. Would recommend as it's only a short walk away from the castle, if you're visiting. Only slight negative is it's difficult to get the small car park at the rear of the building, due to the baffling one way system.

Had a great coffee and cake catch here this morning.  Never knowing how many people will turn up is tricky for the team working there...at one time we had 30 there today ordering all different types of drinks... which the team handled perfectly.   Huge thanks to everyone there today making us very welcome... here's to our next visit

Really enjoyed our stay, can't fault the staff, food, vslue for money, the room and the location.

We didn’t stay at the inn just an evening meal but would certainly consider staying after the fantastic service we received. The proprietor could not do enough to serve us on a very busy evening. So glad we stumbled across this little gem. The food was superb and served with a smile. Great pub, great staff 

Great drink selection- not quite on 4000 untapped beers but this will definitely help! Khris is a great beer mentor and was friendly, professional and had great knowledge. Would recommend as a must visit in Warwick. Food was great as well, and well priced. 

We had a warm welcome from the minute we walked in. The bar and restaurant is well laid out and the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner, portions were very generous and of high quality- waiting staff were very accommodating.
The bedroom was one of 4 rooms upstairs, overlooking the market square which is a lovely place to shop. Well decorated and clean, the beds were super comfy and the en-suite was small but had everything we needed. 
There are a few free parking spaces at the back, and a free public car park around the corner.
Situated just a couple of minutes walk from the castle it was perfect for our planned days out.
This has all the usual charms of old English buildings: the floorboards squeak, the sash windows are not double glazed, the rooms are a little small and there is no aircon- exactly what I would expect from an old inn.
This is also a pub, there will be some noise from the customers talking and laughing- they are happily enjoying themselves, there will be music in the bar- it is also enjoyable, and the market square is a wonderfully sociable place to enjoy an evening meal and a drink with friends.  If you don’t enjoy a hospitable and happy atmosphere in a quintessentially English pub, maybe stay somewhere else.
We had a great time and will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough to make my stay pleasant; exceptionally good food (try the pie); lovely cosy rooms and generally friendly vibe. Great customer service and I’ll definitely be back. 

Lovely smart room. Very clean. Well decorated.
The staff were lovely & helpful. The meals were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed a Sunday roast beef & a full English breakfast the following morning. The portions were generous were both meals. 
The pub was also very comfortable & had a nice atmosphere.
Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay here this weekend. The room was clean and welcoming. The only downside was the bright green light in the ceiling which lit the room when we were trying to sleep. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the food superb and would definitely stay again.

A nice relaxed atmosphere as you walk in.  Reclaimed wood has been used where it can, in the bedrooms, bar and restaurant, for the walls, doors and even some of the furniture, still doing some re decorating upstairs. We had a very comfortable night in a very "cosy" room with a large double bed, (hubby is over six feet tall) overlooking the square, space enough  for a one night stay, they have larger rooms if staying longer.  Spotlessly clean, a couple of issues with the bathroom which will now be fixed, as promised by the duty manager. Good choice on the breakfast menu and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We didn't have dinner as we went to Warwick Castle for a Medieval Banquet, just a short walk away. The only negative for us was the hotel car park was full so we had to park a ten minute walk away and it was raining when we left this morning, you can't win them all!

Will definitely return if visiting Warwick again.

Warm welcome, great food, lovely atmosphere

Great place/food/atmosphere in the pub. We stayed the night before Christmas eve, so the music was very loud.  We had to literally shout to each other as we were sat under the speaker. The food was amazing.  So much so, I asked for the recipe.
We didn't get much sleep as the music was banging on until 1am.  Then unfortunately the market started setting up at 5.30am!
What makes this place is the staff and food.  All really lovely and helpful. I just didn't get a great night's sleep.

My wife and I have just come back from a night away at the tilted wig in Warwick.
SUPERB, I can't rate it highly enough. The manager was so friendly,  he really went above and beyond to settle us in, nothing was too much effort.
Excellent location right in the heart of the town. Food was excellent we had lunch and then our evening meal there, which is something we never do.
Quirky rooms, very clean.
A must on a small budget, worth every penny!

What a great place!! Location, food, drinks and staff were quite simply the best! Verbal recommendation was how we found this place & simply put, we just wanted to stay all night! The food was perfectly cooked and DELICIOUS. A really good menu with plenty of choice for vegetarians like me. Rare in itself! The staff were/are amazing - we felt welcome the moment we set foot through the door, they were like friends! Headed by the wonderful Chris (who if you're Welsh, gives great cwtch's!) this place will be on the top of my favourites list for quite some time & next time we will definitely be staying the night! Can't wait to go back!
