Crowhurst Park

On arrival we walked up to a lovely sized lodge after parking in our own designated spot next to a lovely children’s play park. When through the door we were greeted with a lovely gift bag containing some local edible goodies. There was a dishwasher, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, a cloth and a scouring pad in the kitchen. In the living room there was a nice sized television which was integrated with netflix/prime/youtube. Perfect for rainy days and we did have a couple! There were three bedrooms a master and two twin, each made up with two pillows and bed linen already on the beds also towels on each bed. There was even a little tv in the master bedroom. That brings me to the en-suite shower room which you could access through the mater bedroom or from the hallway. The additional bathroom contained a bath. There were six of us so it was lovely having two toilets which each came with a roll of great quality loo roll, we know how important that is! Through the living area there was a set of patio doors leading to an enclosed outside area with a table and chairs to enjoy the surrounding orchid that surrounded the lodges in the walled garden. This was just the chalet! The reception area contains a small shop which contain all of your basic needs and some easy extras (ramen pots, honey, treats etc) the building then leads on to a lounge area, a children’s playroom with a small soft play, a laundrette, tiny 18+arcade area, bar with pool table and darts and a small outdoor play area and life size chess. Now what I considered the best part! The leisure area, with a lovely sized pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and even a very well equipped gym. The lockers in the changing room were brilliant and no annoying coins are needed. Just the ability to remember a four digit code of your own invention. The showers also all had hair and body wash and conditioner. We didn’t use the spa facilities this time but they did look tempting and upstairs where the gym is located you can sample all of the beauty products they have on offer. The staff were all lovely and happy to help whenever I had a question (which I always have plenty of) We stayed from Monday afternoon check-in at 3pm and checked out at 10am Friday and thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay. We shall be visiting again especially as we only live around 30 minutes away and we were enjoying somewhat of a staycation. The lodge was also lovely and clean, the surrounding outdoor area was beautifully tidy and the main building had an air of elegance. Just our absolutely top holiday so far! Enjoy!!
