We love staying at this Premier Inn, the staff are nice and welcoming, any issues and they are usually resolved quite quickly, always a big thank you to Lewis and Kieran although they are working they always make time for my deaf 3 year old daughter.

Excellent location for exploring Barry. Nice hotel and restaurant warm and welcoming and will definitely be back 

My 3 children and I had a great night staying here for the first time. We used it as a base to extend a visit and we had a good fun. Staff were friendly, helpful, patient and approachable. The breakfast is good value for money and the room had everything we needed. There was no noise and we all slept well in our family room.

Staff were really helpful, kind and accommodating. Had no issues with my assistance dog and no staff tried to distract him.

The room was comfortable, accessible and easy to navigate. The red cords hung without being tied up and the room was tidy and clean.

Had a lovely stay here but too short great facilities and friendly staff we ate in the Brewer’s Fair and it was fabulous Dinner and Breakfast nice service and really looked after by Joshua in the bar and restaurant he was at breakfast also giving us more great cautious service can’t wait to return 👍

We arrived shortly before check in time and we wer allowed to check in early at no cost. Everyone at reception was really kind and helpful. We had a family room which had loads of space for our little one to roam around in and everything was nice and clean. 

Clean, comfy, helpful staff and everything you know you’ll get from a premier inn! Great value and great location will be visiting again soon. It’s a 20 minute walk to Barry island station to meet the Gavin and Stacey bus tour which was our reason for visiting.  

As always very clean & comfy bed, a great breakfast & location. Love staying at this premier inn.will be back in April, rooms have hair dryer, kettle & tea/ coffee facilities. Flat screen TV & plenty of sockets for charging up your phones. Great value stay.

Great location, highly recommend visiting the Goodshed over the road. Very clean and friendly staff throughout our stay was very accommodating. 
Would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re coming to Barry. Was great location for Gavin and Stacey touring too!

I love a premier Inn you know what u are going to get. Bed was so comfy lovely clean room. Staff were really nice and polite. We asked for a taxi number and they went out there way to book us one. Can not fault this place.

A great base to explore from

10 minute drive to the airport for an early morning flight to Athens. Usual comfy bed and pillows. Very little noise disturbing sleep. Decent enough welcome from reception and easy, quick check out. Will book again when I have an early flight from Cardiff Airport. Didn’t sample evening meal or breakfast, so can’t comment on this.

Decent hotel & location

Hotel is located very close to Barry Island, which was our reason for this very last minute trip. We arrived early evening on a Sunday and we’re pleasantly surprised by the nice welcome received and how clean and fresh the room was. Slept incredibly well, it was very quiet all night, the bathroom was good and had a bath, as our regular readers will know we hate not having a bath. Didn’t try breakfast or venture to the Brewers Fayre so couldn’t comment. Definitely one of the better trained members of staff for this brand, congratulations to him for a job well done. Would stay again, which has been hard to say about Premier Inn’s recently.

One Of The Better Stays in a Premier Inn

Very good location for Cardiff. 20 minite drive. Quiet with lovely views over the water. Very good breakfast and range of gluten free items too. 
Generally quiet all though a few noisy guests on the floor above, and through the coridoors. 
Only issue is the twin rooms are now 2 singles instead of double and single. Just not as comfy for 1 adult and 1 child.  

Family stay

We were coming to Barry to go to a Christmas Lights event and Christmas Market in Cardiff with my son and his girlfriend - as he lives round the corner from the Premier Inn it was the ideal place to stay and I’m so glad we did. Everything from the booking to the stay to the breakfast next morning and then checking out, was easy, with friendly, efficient staff, lovely clean, spacious room, delicious breakfast and a very reasonable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely book again and recommend the Premier Inn to family and friends.

We stayed for 1 night and it was probably one of the better premier inns we have stayed in!  Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The beefeater next door is a bit dire for meals and breakfast! Would stay again if in the area! But would find somewhere better to eat!
