Great location, within walking distance from Looe town and beach.Fantastic hosts and rooms were excellent.We couldn't have asked for anything better.We hope to visit again soon

We don’t usually write reviews, but on this occasion we think it’s warranted. When I was booking our recent weeks break, all of the places we liked were booked, so, we took a chance on Cherrywood Lodge, and are we pleased we did. There is nothing to dislike.  Rooms are superb, clean, everything you need, excellent bathrooms, no smelly linen as previous review, parking posed no problems, as others have said is an issue.  Breakfast is superb and the choice is better than many hotels we have stayed in.  We had no worries being asked what time we would like to sit down for breakfast.  We would certainly visit again and have no fears in recommending.  Ann and Ralph are wonderful hosts.  Superb.

We had a brilliant stay at  Cherrywood. The food was fabulous. The breakfast specials were all tasty and well cooked.The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.. Annie and Ralph made us most welcome. We will definitely stay there again. Great value for money.

Beautiful room lovely soft bedding and towels,perfectly clean all over whole house.
Annie and Ralph are the hosts with the most, very friendly and attentive.Breakfast was excellent,top quality  local food .Full English and great alternatives on menu.parking is a bonus.Looe town is 5 mins away also the beach.Would highly recommend cherry wood lodge

On our second visit and just to say Annie and Ralph are the perfect hosts the place is absolutely spotless and the breakfasts are marvellous , home made marmalades are amazing, one of the best B & B’s we have stayed in , will definitely not be our last visit

What can I say the room was lovely big but cosy , Annie and Ralph were both wonderful people making our stay feel special. And the breakfast was so delicious a choice of specials as well as the usual breakfast the homemade bread was amazing we will be back such a wonderful place to stay.

When we arrived Ralph,one of the hosts helped us with our cases and showed us to our lovely room ,Ralph explained about the passwords for the bedroom door and gates that you put in the key pads.
He explained about the timer on the shower pump as there are some inconsiderate people that will stay in the shower for more than twenty minutes using up all the hot water so that other guests are limited (god knows who would want to stay in a shower for that long unless they have excessive body odour or legs like Bigfoot).
Every room has a breakfast specials menu with lots of choice (ten I think ) so we placed our  order for the following morning.
Our room was fully equipped with water,tea coffee next to the kettle and milk in a small fridge (ideal for keeping the cream teas or the odd bottle of vino bought in town).
The en suite bathroom has all the little goodies you get in a high class hotel ,soap,shampoo,conditioner,bar of soap,cotton buds and all the trimmings.
We had two bath towels and two hand towels,also three toilet rolls,plenty to last us the whole weekend stay.
Our hosts were really friendly and if you asked them anything they would try their utmost to help you if they can.
We have had a fabulous weekend and look forward to returning again next year

Ralph and Annie are the most amazing hosts! Nothing was to much trouble.. our room was clean,cosy and comfortable.. Breakfast was to die for! We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year and bringing some friends! 

From the arrival to the end of our 4 day stay the experience was great, we were greeted and shown around the property. The hosts are both excellent and friendly, the room was in excellent condition and they recommended some local attractions to visit. The breakfast was of high quality and cannot be faulted. We would recommend this b and b to anybody who wants a quality stay at a good price

Highly reccomend, great Hosts spotless rooms with everything you require, quality breakfasts, nothing to much trouble, Ralph and Annie are great hosts. Also parking available. Looking forward to next time. The hosts are a mine of information that can help you decide where to visit , where to eat and advice on transport.
Highly recommend this as a base to stay when visiting the area.

Quality accomadation.

We instantly felt welcome and at home on arrival by our 2 excellent hosts Ralph and Annie. The rooms were very clean, Breakfast superb, manners and attention to each guest, outstanding. We felt extremely happy during our stay and would recommend this gem to our friends. There was no sign of rudeness or short temper from either host. They Catered to all guests needs during our stay. We loved the chilled vibe of the place and the 5 * breakfast, facilities, beds, pillows and duvets. Absolutely all needs or scenarios have been thought of in these rooms with even ear plugs for your wife if you're a snorer or needle and thread if you need to repair a button on your shirt. I have stayed in the Marriott, Hilton and other private hotels/B&Bs in the UK and around the world. This place outshines those in many ways, especially Ralph's amazing breakfasts and specials menu. All of the food is locally sourced from Cornish farms and family run shops. The Bacon and sausages in the full English are perfect. The homemade bread is lush and goes a treat with their homemade jams selections. The work Annie & Ralph put into this place speaks volumes for itself. The rooms have a good size fridge and beverage making facilities to make you feel even more at ease if traveling a distance with food for your trip. To top all of this off, the Hotel is secure and safe with large iron gates to keep you and your loved one/s safe. You can really tell that this place is kept in tip top shape with fresh paint, no stains, clean sheets, clean floors, polished everything and not a spec of dirt in sight. This place has what lots of mainstream places lack, human touch and love in every corner. I would recommend this place all day and look forward to coming back to Looe.

Perfect stay and very welcoming experience for me and my wife.

When we arrived we were  warmly welcomed by Ralph and Annie and we were shown to our room which was SPOTLESSLY CLEAN which they take alot of pride in. 
It had all the emities such as tea and coffee making facilites, the milk was fresh and was replaced for you each morning by Ralph. The bed was comfortable and the en-suite room was very clean with free toiletries. We had free wi-fi access which you was given on arrival.
There was a small menu at breakfast which was lovingly cooked by Ralph and served to us by Annie who helped you with everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked very well and we tried a different dish each day (which we pre-ordered ), and it tasted delicious.
Annie knew the surrounding areas very well so when we needed advice on where to go and where to eat she was very informative. 
There was free parking round the back of the property but the road at the front can be difficult to cross . 
It was only  a short walk into Looe which we visited most days we suggest you book in advance if you want to eat at a restaurant as they get very full .
We had a wonderful relaxing and enjoyable holiday and look forward to staying again.

Cherrywood Lodge is classed as a B&B when really it's a home from home. We have been back so many times now we have had the privilege of staying in all of the rooms. Each one is spacious, immaculately cleaned, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The breakfasts are amazing. Make sure to sample the breakfasts from the specials board. The hosts Ralph and Annie are so friendly and always there for a chat or to suggest places to visit in the area.
With Looe only a few minutes stroll away Cherrywood Lodge comes with parking, so no need to get tangled up in the holiday traffic fighting for somewhere to park.  The bus routes and railway station  are also within walking distance so if you're looking for a base from which to explore the delights of Cornwall, then Cherrywood Lodge is it.

The best B&B we've stayed in....... ever!! 

Just got back from a lovely stay at Cherrywood Lodge in Looe, Cornwall.

Ralf & Anne the owners are both excellent hosts from start to finish of our 5days there.

Room was amazing, clean and tidy, everything you needed was in your room.
Excellent choice for breakfast, freshly cooked, 
Would definitely recommend staying here, we will certainly be back.

Stayed here based on the excellent reviews which are very well deserved by the lovely, hardworking owners Annie and Ralph. 

Spotlessly clean, lovely decor, delicious home made breakfasts, friendly and down to earth hosts, great location, on site parking. 

Couldn’t fault this place and would definitely stay again.

Even little touches such as plenty of hangers in the wardrobe - most places never have enough!
