This was our first visit to any hotel with our recently joined ballroom club 'Happy Feet Dance Academy' and we literally had a ball! The hotel was bedecked in decorations and it had a fabulous feel to the place. The staff were everything you could wish for, they were engaging, friendly, incredibly professional and hard-working. The bedroom was, like all of the hotel that we saw, clean and very neat with a lovely view across the estuary and made for a pleasant stay. The food was of good quality and if you needed a little more it was supplied on request (little or no food waste, excellent). The ballroom was alive with the sound of joyous music and laughter all weekend and with Appledore and Westward Ho! on your doorstep this made for an ideal location. To top it off, it was my birthday and I hugely enjoyed the staff bringing a (second) desert to me topped with a candle as the whole room joined in the birthday song. Special moments at the Durrants, we made memories there. Thank you.
