162 reviewsMyself and my step dad stayed here for 6 nights earlier this month. We both had huge rooms next door to each other with large balconies overlooking the pool and gardens. The buildings are lovely, full of character and so much more appealing than some monstrosities we saw along the beach (especially on the way to Galle) The food was absolutely delicious, there was a wide menu to choose from and everything was fresh and cooked to order. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you! I have to especially mention Dinesh who was the tuk tuk driver for the hotel as well as dropping and picking us up from their sister hotel with beautiful private beach! Whenever we wanted he very kindly took me to a clinic after I had an accident and damaged my foot. He also advised us about and took us to other activities such as a river cruise among the mangroves which was fab! Only minus point is that the bathrooms could do with updating other than that it's +++points all the way. I can't recommend this hotel enough and wld definitely stay again if I ever go back to this wonderful country.
