Our tour company recommended this place and after staying there for two nights I am very happy to recommend it to others. Its location suited us perfectly as Habarana is very centrally located- and gave us fast/ easy access East (Anuradhapura, Mihintale, Ritigala, Wilpattu NP), West (Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Kaudulla & Minneriya NP) and South (Sigiriya, Dambulla). The room was "grand" very nice and spacious (very, very easily fitted the two, full sized, beds), with a very high ceiling. The ensuite was also large & very nice (both functional and functioning). It was all beautifully clean with nicely tiled floors.. We had a nice verandah overlooking their large front garden. The food was excellent, The price (food & accommodation) was really good and they took full care of our driver (apparently for free). The staff had excellent English and were very attentive, caring and helpful The aircon and wifi worked well too.
