Casa Das Janelas Com Vista

I stayed at Casa das Janelas Com Vista for 7 days in October. The location is about 2 blocks from Bairro Alto restaurant/bar area. Yet, the two block distance is enough to give a different vibe. The street is quiet and residential. The reception, kitchen, and common area is in the lower level. It's large, open, and welcoming. I spent some time in the area every day. There are complimentary water, coffee, and pastries everyday. I stayed on the third floor with a nice view of the neighborhood. The room is well decorated with a balcony. Very generous sized room overall. Room service is daily, and the staff keeps the place clean. The staff is the best part of this facility. They are super friendly, know the area, and are always ready to help. I had many questions/requests during my stay, and they were always patient, and helpful. Finally, Lisbon is a hilly city built with cobblestones. The walk to Bairro Alto could be taxing. While I walked up to the hotel from Baxia/Chiado metro station on the first day, I decided to take the transfer to the airport. For the healthy and able, this is a neighborhood gem.
