The hotel gives a great first impression: the beautiful blue-tiled swimming pool, the beautiful garden, frog pond and beautiful spacious rooms. I do not know how they do it for the little money we paid for our stay.
It is the best of the 6 hotels we visited during our trip in Portugal.

Our favourite BB ever. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped. We had even a jacuzzi in our bathroom :)
Garden and pool area is well maintained and truly amazing. 
Tasty, hearty breakfast in a very nice surrounding.
Only disadvantage is that no resturant for evening meals in the hotel.
I would stay here again at any time! Highly recommended.

Lovely renovated old-time estate. Beautiful  house, excellent service. Very spacious good equipped and furnished rooms, nice dinning room. Very friendly courtesy staff. But main amazing advantage - the own park. Not simple green place, but very well maintained garden with ponds, pool, flowers and great trees. Hotel locates in rural landscape in national park, so there is maximum for vacation on nature. Close is located Linhares castle and historical village, and other historical places are not far away. But hotel has such relaxed own atmosphere that you really don't want to leave it.

We came across this amazing place by accident and were very happy that we decided to stay. The staff was extremely helpfull and professional and made sure that we were very well taken care of. We were the only guests and that made our stay here even more special; the beautiful buildings, the wonderful grounds and gardens, the big pool, the birds, butterfly's, frogs...Our room looked brand new, was spotless with a big bathroom and good airco. After a very comfy night I got up early to have a walk around the estate and simply loved it. Everything is cared for with such love and attention! When we entered the diningroom to have some breakfast, we were absolutely amazed by the banquet that was waiting for us.  There was enough freshly baked breadrolls, croissants, sliced bread for toasting, variety of cheeses, meats, jams and marmelades, yoghurt and so on to feed a family of ten. Thank you again for a great stay!

Our favorite quinta in Portugal

Klein paradijs.

It is a clean and friendly place but... the rooms are dark (we stayed in a so called villa) and the design and use of the outside areas are overdone and kitsch. I missed the authenticity of the Quinta. Many styles are used without appreciating the history of the house and its location. I think it's a missed opportunity. It could have had many authentic USP's
