The enthusiasm of the owner of this traditional Riad is contagious. He went out of the way to meet our requests. His mint tea is fantastic. The breakfast is also quite good. I would recommend it for a beautiful experience yet one that was quite confortable. My female friend loved the hammam and massage.. I only suggest that all rooms be airconditioned given the heat.

What an incredible Riyad, made even more special by the amazing, wonderful, and gracious owner, Yousef. Our family of five had an unforgettable experience here. The food was delicious, the rooms spotless, but it was the staff, including Yousef, that truly made our stay exceptional. The owner took the time to share great recommendations for must-see spots in Morocco and was incredibly friendly and engaging. We only wish we could have stayed longer at this lovely location, which was within walking distance to the Medina (City). Thank you, Yousef, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable!

Dar Al Miraaj was undoubtedly one of our most delightful accommodation experiences during our summer trip to Morocco. Located in a tranquil alley in the Medina, it is seamlessly close to Laalou Avenue, a mere 10 minutes' walk from the renovated Oudaya’s Andalusian Gardens and its remarkable Museum showcasing adornments from all over Morocco.
This family-oriented riad, tastefully refurbished, captures the essence of Moroccan hospitality, making it an ideal choice for families. The owner, Mr. Youcef, has a genuine attention for small details and possesses excellent anticipatory skills to accommodate visitors. From arranging a car with a driver for our journey from Rabat Airport to facilitating a comprehensive city tour, every aspect was meticulously handled.
Being among the initial visitors, we were fortunate to be charmed by the three-level riad and its two-levels terrace denoting a surprising combination of opulence and tranquility. The room decor was a standout feature, while the splendid patio and well-equipped kitchen were particularly appreciated by family and kids.
The local hammam, nearing completion, and the Moroccan restaurant, set to open soon, promise to enhance the overall experience. Now, in addition to the riads of Marrakech and Fez, Rabat is firmly on the map.


Stayed very often in Rabat for business but my stay at the Al Miraaj was just unforgettable! I could enjoy the calmness to work with the comfort to rest and the perfect location to shop and visit museums. For a photos lover like me, 4 days stay was not enough. The Al Miraaj has thousands of details to capture. Just fabulous!! 
Situated a few steps from the entrance to the medina, so I never got lost. Oudayas Kasbah & museum and the beach of Rabat is minutes walk away. I can’t wait to go back!

Nice location for visiting Fes' Medina. 5 minute walk from the hotel, easy to reach by car as well. Parking next door.
Good breakfast with fresh fruit. Highly recommended for a stay in Fes'.

This riad is really beautiful in a nice location. 
The only minus is the that you have little privacy in your room and you hear every single noise from anywhere. 
The doors do not come with a locker, just ask for one, if you need one.

Really convenient location on the edge of the medina, very close to the kasbah. This is very useful because its verty easy to get lost in the medina/souks, especially after dark.
The decoration of the communal areas of this hotel are very beautiful and the rooms are nicely decorated, although a little small & you need to watch your head entering the bathrooms!
The staff are helpful too.

Beautiful Riad, unluckily little privacy

This is a really striking classic riad with a gorgeous courtyard and a nice roof. The rooms are pleasant and there is a daily cleaning service. The two young men that work here are very kind and attentive. I give this a poor rating because of the nastiness of the owner...just be prepared to deal with some negativity and a surprise bill at the end of your stay. Other negatives include the breakfast, which isn't really served warm, the poor wifi, and a lack of security (no locks to your room).

Good location, nice room, unpleasant owner

My parents stayed at this Riad. The staff were very friendly and the room was nice. The only issue is that it is very overpriced for the experience and only accept payment in cash. I would recommend another Riad in Rabat.
