This is a lovely place. The staff team are helpful, friendly and careful of your privacy. Mohammed gave advice with trips, things to see, met us and helped us get familiar with the geography, Hadija cooked superb food and took great care of us, and Aziza kept the house tidy and clean.  Being in the medina was an unforgettable experience, and we fell in louve with Fes.  We took up the airport transfer, which made arriving very easy, and Hadija's food was so good, we only ate out once!  Go. You will love it.

Dar Jnane is a beautiful, cozy, authentic, warm and safe Riad with plenty of character. It has ample space but an intimate feel. 

Our 3-night stay was made perfect by Simohamed, a true gem of a manager, who spoke perfect English and looked after everything we needed including a pick-up from the railway station, directions around the Medina maze, restaurant recommendations, city tour guide and personally taking us to an excellent car rental service in town etc etc.

Even with cool January temperatures the house kept warm thanks to a gas heater plus an a/c in the bedroom. 

Lovely housekeeper sisters Kadisha and Aziza (please excuse the probably incorrect spelling) made us daily breakfasts and a superb "Pastilla" dinner, plus cleaned and washed everything. Thank you!

Wifi works well and the view from the roof terrace is an absolute bonus.

We have such warm memories of this Riad and highly recommend it to others wishing to experience a great Moroccan Medina experience.

authentic taste of Morocco , we arrived to the Dar Jnane to be greeted by Simohammed and fresh mint tea , the Riad was superb , 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms ,air con , tv , FREE WIFI , fully equipped kitchen ,roof top terrace , cook , cleaner  and everything you could need for a comfy stay , he arranged for trips out into the medina and to the middle Atlas mountains ,also he arranged for all our meals to be cooked in the Riad and I must say they were fantastic , such great value and very authentic .Nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast included and again fantastic . Dont go expecting great night life , bars ,restaurants as this little gem in in the heart of the old Medina ,but if its a sample of true Moroccan life you want then this is the place to stay . we would definately recommend this as a great place to relax unwind and sample Morocco at an amazing price ...a real little find :)

This is a beautiful 3 bdrm 3 bath House within the old Medina of Fes. The location is ideal for a real cultural experience. The place was beautiful. Simonhamed arranged tours for us, dinner at night, and even a girl to come and to Henna art on our hands. Not bad for 40+ year olds. Breakfast is included and superb! We ate out 2 nights and decided to have the lady come cook us a traditional Moroccan dinner the other 4 nights. Very affordable (300.00 durhams a night for 3 persons) and incredible. Very safe, very comfortable, vey friendly. I cannot say enough good about this place. They have heat for cold temp. and lots of hot water. VERY CLEAN. I could live here.

Fes, Riad is everything and more

Ok so when I was asked to go to morocco I didn't realise it would be in the middle,of the medina! 
I nearly had a heart attack on  arrival I thought it would be more westernised!
Any the riad is fabulous our house keeper was brilliant he organised every thing for us we also had our own cook which was about £9 each for we ending meal bargain! 
I would advise going to the big supermarket on a arrival  as you won't get much down the market!
Over all good time I would recommend hiring the private tour guide but when you want go shopping he will,take you to his mates shops so put your foot down and shop,where you want!
Do t take DVDs as there is a player but about 10 away from the tv it can be used as a CD player!
Don't go in Ramadan as nothing will be open
