House andalous

My family and I really loved our stay in Fès. It was our first time ever in Morocco, and Mehdi was incredibly helpful. He connected us with a tour guide for our first day, which let us see many things we would have missed otherwise. The Riad is beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location — right across from the Andalusian Mosque and about a 10 minute walk from Seffarine Square, the tanneries, and many incredible markets. Every morning, Fatiha, the chef, prepared an amazing meal, as well as mint tea and coffee. She is one of the sweetest, funniest people around. We also had dinner at the riad one night, which was, unsurprisingly, delicious. We are vegetarian, and Fatiha was very accommodating. Some of our favorite moments were just sitting and drinking tea on the patio.One more general thing, not related to our stay - We had some trouble on arrival. Our plane was delayed and we ended up landing at 1:30 in the morning, which caused some trouble with the transport we’d arranged. As long as you aren’t trying to show up in the middle of the night, though, all should be good. Mehdi still went above and beyond in order to sort everything out, and wound up staying up until we arrived. And then drove us to the airport for our departure. He couldn't have been more helpful and kind - highly recommend House Andalous!
