First of all the staff was fantastic. Very patient and accommodating. Great hotel in a great location. Quiet as well as the loud music from the disco is no more. Disco was closed and appeared permanent. Lots of nice restaurants in and around the hotel.

across the road from the ferry which we used. 6 min walk to cruise terminal. fabulous restaurant on the top floor. Casual bar on top floor too panoramic views. Would have loved breakfast included with the price we payed per night. Travelling from Australia we seem to pay alot more.

check-in and out very smooth.  Restaurant upstairs slightly overpriced.  Service excellent.  Enjoyed the two man band on rooftop the second night.  Although no songs were in English the music was great and made you want to dance.

This property was very nice. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and eye appealing. The in-house restaurant was very beautifully decorated, the staff was very friendly, and the food was good. The rooftop bar was a nice touch, and the view was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location fabulous food. The feef top bar was fantastic.  I was lucky to chose this hotel but was delighted with the choice.  Any one going to Tahiti should definitely consider this hotel. Great price, location and food. What more do you need.

Staff  on Reception so welcoming. We got there 3 30am and went to our room straight away. Our room was opposite Ferry building with side view of water. Very clean room. Floor so clean. We were on the 5th floor and very quiet. Very central for shopping. Not too far from airport and cruise terminal.

The nightclub next to the hotel makes a lot of noise all throughout the night till early morning. Other than that the hotel and the location is amazing😊

The hotel was lovely, great location, very contemporary, great staff. We were on the 6the floor, there is a restaurant on floor 7 and a bar on floor 8. The live music coming from the bar could be heard until late. I could hear things being dropped on the floor above, rather noisy. It wasn’t real bad, but noticeable. The staff was helpful in getting taxis, recommending restaurants, and local places to see. They have a lounge and showers for people who have checked out and want to freshen up for the flight home. Nice touch. Overall, good place, I would stay again.

Great place, great location (just in front of the ferry for Moorea) and awesome staff. They helped me booking a rental car and found me 35% OFF. One weekend night, it was a bit loud outside but it has to be expected since directly in Papeete. The noise wasn’t loud enough with the patio closed to keep us awake, we felt asleep easily. The roof bar is awesome, this hotel is one of the highlight in Papeete

Staff was great and very helpful, breakfast in the cafe was super convenient and tasty, Reeftop bar on the roof had great drinks and some food, also very good. Room was clean, nice, and well insulated (could not hear the roosters crowing at all). Have zero complaints and would stay there again for sure. Another plus, right across the street from the ferry terminal in Papeete.

Stayed 3 times before, after and in between island visits. All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and proficient.Pre-empted our taxi bookings for the airport. Had the Tahitian Home Double room, very spacious and quiet.Only problem was that we stayed on Sunday and Monday nights when the restaurant was closed, but the reef top bar was still open for happy hour and sunset.

Stayed after a cruise. Enjoyed being close to shops, restaurants, bars, cruise ship terminal.   Opposite ferry terminal which was handy.  Very busy with traffic and somewhat noisy.  Good view from our room.  I would NOT recommend staying on Level 6.  Noise from the above restaurant was a bit much, especially at 6.00 am one morning !  Needs soundproofing and more lighting in the room.  Rooftop bar was great.  Overall good stay.

Good stay

We stayed at the Kon-Tiki for 3 nights prior to a cruise. In general, the hotel was excellent, with very comfortable beds and superb overall cleanliness. There were 3 specific things that dropped the rating a bit. The housekeeping staff took our small towel on the second day and never replaced it. The filtered water bottle was refilled, but the filter itself wasn't replaced correctly and I ended up pouring water all over the counter when it fell out. And finally, the sink looks good, but I found it impossible to shave without splattering all over due to its design. Minor problems, but they added up a bit. Overall, a good experience

We arrived at the hotel at 5:15am after a red eye flight from Calif and check in wasn’t until 3pm. They secured our luggage and we were let up to the first floor where a quiet sitting area with water, coffee & tea was available. We actually fell asleep for 2 hours and got up to explore downtown Papeete. Downtown was dingy, worn down and had grown people sleeping on sidewalks. We didn’t feel unsafe, but walking around once was plenty. We returned to the hotel at 10am and were told our room was upgraded and we could check in at noon. We spent the next 2 hours in the Kon tiki coffee cafe and had a great lunch. Our upgraded room was a suite with small kitchen and view of the ocean. We ate dinner at the Kon Tiki Reeftop bar with wonderful views of Moorea and the sunset. The ferry terminal is right across the street, very easy to walk to with luggage. The Boutique Kon Tiki hotel was absolutely perfect for our one night stay before taking the ferry to Moorea.

Our room was spotless and very comfortable. This is right across the street from the ferry terminal and within walking distance of great restaurants and the market. The staff was very helpful and the hotel even has a lounge area with bathrooms/showers for guests to use after checking out. Great perk when your flight doesn’t leave until evening.

Love this hotel.

Nice hotel, very good restaurant, friendly, professional staff. BUT one small lift is woefully inadequate for a property of this size (especially since many people from outside the hotel use it to access the restaurant and “reef top” bar). On more than one occasion we gave up waiting for the lift and used the stairs, which of course is not possible with luggage. I’m sure that we aren’t the first people to comment about the lift!

This boutique hotel has everything.  It is close to the ferry and within walking distance to shopping and the market.  The staff is quite helpful.  There is a restaurant on premise and a rooftop bar that offers a view of the harbor and a nice menu with exceptional pizza and other bites.   We stayed here twice during our Tahiti trip and will definitely stay again.
