Rosengaarden Hostel

It was great, the garden beautiful.Breakfast very gut.

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Rosengaarden that we will never forget. The staff were very warm and friendly and the facilities catered for everything we needed while we were enjoying the downtime. The property is very close to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed the sun and sand. In the evening at Rosengaarden we grabbed some cold beers from the bar and played table tennis outside. Fantastic venue and a dream getaway for a couple of Aussies!

Good accomodation, very good breakfast. Bathroom to small, and should be to refresh.

We've stayed here in august '14 and had a great time. The hostel is especially nice if you're travelling with small children. There's a big garden with two trampolines, chess game, rabbits, sandbox. Inside the main building is a tv room with games and toys.

The guest kitchen is located in a other building and there are a couple of rooms there too. We've stayed in a room facing the garden, much better than the rooms facing te drive way. 

The TV room is lacking atmosphere, here they could do better. You can order breakfast, you'll can eat it in the dining room. It's a big room, to big in my opinion. The're wifi in the common area, not in  your room.

The staff was friendly, but also a bit reserved. The rooms have a decent size and are clean with good beds. Every room has a private bathroom with shower. The shower is a bit weary, but works great nevertheless. 

It's a really nice place to explore Bornholm, but you don't have the typical hostel feel. For instance, they have in summer a bbq and you can join them, but it's very expensive (definitely not hostel prices) and like I sayed, the common room wasn't very inviting. If they manage to improve those aspects, they might get 5 out of 5.

Friendly, fun and far above expectations!

Great potential, but could do better

Nice place

Dear Rosengaarden. I liked the hostess very much. She was very friendly and serviceminded. But the room was icy cold, as the heat had not been turned on before I arrived. I turned it on, but next morning the radiator was still only lukewarm.I liked the atmosfere of the place, but can only recommend it as a place to stay overnight in much warmer conditions.

It smells at the bathrooms and the walls are thin so ure neighbour will wake u if he just turns in bed.

It was a nice garden and that was it... Believe me its wurth use som few ekstra danske kroner for another place to stay..

This is not even a hotel, the description is misleading. It’s an overpriced little hostel that charged us extra 30 euro for bedsheets that I am still trying to get hotels.com refunded.

Not a hotel but a hostel without bedsheets

The place looks quite nice from the outside but dull on the inside. Service is slow and not friendly. The so called ”best fricadelles on Bornholm” is a fraud. Few things to do nearby unless you take the car, or long bicycle ride, somewhere elae. Dogs are not welcome anywhere on the premises.
