Bluenose Lodge

Really enjoyed our stay. It's a very old building, so keep that in mind. The outdoor space is great and the sitting room is cozy. Breakfast was included and excellent.

My family and I went to the Dinner Theatre and we had an absolute blast. Thank you SO MUCH for a magical evening! Everything was absolutely perfect, and we had so much fun!! 
As a family of 3 we so rarely get to do fun little family night time events and this was definitely the best ever. 

Tucking my girl into bed last night and she says, the circus was so much fun! A man gave me a flower! And proceeded to sleep with her flower in one hand (I tried to get her to leave it on the table but that was a no go) and her temperance pledge in the other. 

I hope her dancing wasn’t too much of a distraction but when the beat gets ya it gets ya!

Beautiful historic in. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. The staff is very friendly and the service very good. Breakfast is delicious and filling. Highly recommend. Very close walk to Lunenburg’s attractions, shops and restaurants. Easy driving distances to provincial parks where one can hike and see fascinating geological features along the coast and picturesque vistas.

The entire meal was EXCELLENT from beginning to end.  
The service was impeccable .

The atmosphere was very relaxing and the wine pared with the meal was delicious.  We have been here several times and have NEVER had a bad experience .

I absolutely loved this boutique lodge in a historic home in beautiful Lunenburg. My room was beautifully appointed with every attention to detail. I slept so well in the amazing bed. Caleb who checked me in was so nice and helpful. He assisted with luggage and told me about a nice walking trail across the street from the lodge that was a scenic way to walk to downtown. Also about the spectacular views of Lunenburg that you can see from the golf course across the harbor. I stopped there on the way out of town. 
The lodge has a beautiful large dining room with windows all around. I had a delicious breakfast there included with my room. I did not have chance to have dinner there as I only stayed one night but would definitely do so again if I am ever so fortunate to be able to go back to Nova Scotia. Next  time I would definitely stay two nights to further enjoy the relaxation and beauty of Lunenburg and the Bluenose Lodge.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!  The staff was so friendly and did everything to ensure that our experience was pleasant ! Mark greeted us upon arrival with a smile and answered all our questions, not rushing us , while politely telling other guests he would just be a moment , while he brought us to our gorgeous room! It was very clean, bed was super comfortable !  The town is just a short walk away with several quaint shops, restaurants and bars . The breakfast was included and was absolutely delicious ! Waitress was so sweet !  Highly recommend! We hope to be back in the future! 

Comfortable bed very nice room. Fabulous breakfast wonderfully decorated throughout. We were greeted by the fabulous  Joelle who was as professional and pleasant could be. Location is perfect  and it’s a 10 minute walk to shops and the harbor. We also had dinner in the dining room at an extra cost but well worth it. They have a wonderful chef on site. We will be back on our next trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated inn. Within walking distance of Main Street Lunnenburg . The room was comfortable, king size bed, exceptionally clean. Innkeeper Mark was such a gracious host, available, and extremely attentive to our requests. We enjoyed the chicken schnitzel, smoked salmon, and wonderful lemon cloud cake. Two chefs hail from Austria and Germany. The kitchen definitely met our culinary needs.

We loved everything about this place.  Stayed for 2 nights.  Very clean, nice staff who genuinely care about your wellbeing.  I really liked that it’s not in the center of town which got a little noisy at night.  Very quiet here. Easy walk to town and other restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and served to you, not a buffet like some places.  I highly recommend.

The Bluenose Lodge is situated in an historic house; the interior is decorated beautifully in a modern yet traditional style that reflects and harmonizes with its history. The rooms are super-clean and very comfortable and quiet.  The price of the room includes a fabulous breakfast, which on Sunday is a decadent brunch, which is an event in itself (think eggs benedict over lobster...). Guests can order anything on the very interesting menu. The wonderful atmosphere of the Lodge added to our enjoyment of our visit.  The owner Mark was very welcoming. While the lodge is not in the historic town center, it is only a 5 minute walk away and is thus removed from the hubbub of the tourist area.

Great style, great breakfast, walking distance to town, comfortable and atmospheric

Our daughter, granddaughter, my husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Lodge. Our accommodations were very comfortable and quiet. The biggest treat were the two excellent breakfasts we enjoyed in lovely surroundings. We were given excellent recommendations to visit The Ovens which are located near the town as well as to take the Haunted Ghost Tour which we found to be interesting and informative. 
We would highly recommend The Bluenose Lodge if you are making a trip to Lunenburg. You won’t be disappointed.
