I cannot rate this delightful B&B highly enough, starting with a warm welcome and lovely surroundings, we were blown away by the standard of furnishings and decor. Well sized bedroom with loads of storage and lovely bathroom with lots of toiletries. Bed was so large and comfortable and after a restful sleep the breakfast would satisfy even the biggest eater! Hosts were wonderfully thoughtful and informative and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the area.

Comfortable bed & breakfast which offered everything a weary walker could dream of ... really comfortable bed (in peace & quiet), plentiful hot water in good shower (& good quality shower products), substantial, tasty breakfast with plenty of choice, friendly and considerate owners who know the area well and can advise/recommend.   The property is only metres from part of the 3 Peaks route so if you are walking that independently, you could do so without driving and parking, and missing the busy start point.  Otherwise, just a good spot to start any walk from.  Ingleton is only 6 miles away and offers excellent selection of pubs/restaurants, plus nice tourist shops.  Old Hill Inn even nearer (short walk).

Such a special great B&B , absolutely perfect hosts, so professional at their jobs but at the same time so friendly too, as a consequence we all felt very welcome and relaxed. Great breakfasts, great rooms, all perfect.
Lovely location to explore , great walks on the doorstep.

My partner brought me here on 1st March - 3rd March for my Birthday. 

Jan and Martin were very accommodating, we arrived 2 hours later than the time we originally thought we’d be there for and this wasn’t a problem at all. We were shown to a beautiful cosy room, with the best bed I’ve slept in for ages, so much so I didn’t want to leave it in the mornings haha! 

We got settled and Jan had left us torches out on the side so we could go for a walk and see what the stars were like, as it was super pitch black. 

The next morning we had a wonderful breakfast, which filled us up perfectly for our Ingleton falls walk and we got a chance to get to know Jan and Martin. They both are a fountain of knowlegde when it comes to walking trails and give the best advice. They do offer pack lunches at a small extra cost also. 

We got back in the afternoon and our room had been tidied and I didn’t even have to ask for champagne glasses for the champagne I had brought for my birthday, Jan and Martin had left them in our room for our celebration later that night. They also left me a beautiful birthday card and some chocolates which I enjoyed very much. 

Overall I would recommend this beautiful place to stay any day, it was super clean and tidy, smelt beautiful, the shower was amazing and the bed was ultra comfy and when it comes to breakfast I don’t think I could’ve asked for anything better.

Croft Gate is a lovely place. Very nice and warm room with a comfy bed, internet and a kettle to make tea/coffee. Very clean room and bathroom. Jan and Martin are very friendly and helpful - best hosts you can dream of. And the breakfast is delicious!
