I have stayed here twice recently, last time I think I took 5 or 6 rooms! It is rural and far from the cities, but for me this is a plus when looking to get away for rest and relaxation. It's very close to my favourite restaurant O Pote so I like to stay here and explore the area. Being next to an ancient Roman bridge that crosses the river, there are country walks and parks which are perfect for wandering around. There's also a bar next door to the B&B in case you need refreshment. Although it's next to the road and the river you don't notice any noise unless you open the window facing the river, but then the sound of the running water is soothing in it's natural beauty. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the bathrooms have amenities and cleanliness is a given, always perfect. The owners who run the B&B are charming and welcoming, we always feel at home when we arrive and are sad to leave. The breakfasts they prepare are lovely and I love their coffee. Next time I must stay for one of their home cooked dinners, last time they showed me how to cook Galician Hen but I didn't stay to eat. This was perfect for any kind of stay.
