Karawan Riad 

As navigating the Madina in Fez is so difficult, we were very appreciative of how attentive the staff was in ensuring that we had a car and driver to fetch us from the train station and help with the bags to get to the Riad. Our room, Chergui Suite, far exceeded our expectations, and had plenty of seating including a balcony in our bedroom as well as over the inside courtyard. The bathroom view was also breathtaking (window out onto a wall of greenery). While the rooms have heat/cooling, the central courtyard and common areas are the ambient temperature, so I would recommend in the wintertime preparing to wear a wrap/shawl or light jacket, but even then, the staff had nice shoulder/lap throws that were available. The dining at the riad was excellent - we had breakfast and dinner there every day and the food, it's variety and presentation as well as the service were all excellent. We had thought we would go out and try other restaurants, but after our first night there, we realized that we would not be able to find anything better... Our thanks to the staff for a truly wonderful experience. Highly recommend a stay here!!
