Loved this place! It's a 10-minute walk from the train station and very close to the National Gallery, which is a must-see. I admit I made things a little difficult for both me and Massimo, the proprietor. I assumed this was a typical B&B with a staffed reception. It's not that. Massimo contacted me while we were on the train about my arrival time, which I didn't receive as I didn't have data on. When we arrived I had to contact him and request his presence, and he very graciously came over in 5 minutes. Massimo gave us all sorts of local recommendations and regaled us with his tales. The rooms connect to a common area stocked with breakfast goods and a solid espresso machine. We were also given vouchers for coffee and croissants at a local cafe. Overall, this was a great experience.
