We stayed here recently when we walked the Rennsteig long distance path in Thuringia. This was a lovely hotel and we were treated very well by everyone. We were picked up at the end of that day's walking and dropped off again the next morning to do the next stage of the walk. We had a lovely room with a balcony which was spacious and comfortable. However it's the food that was really outstanding. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal that was served by really friendly staff and the next morning had a fantastic breakfast (my excuse is that we were doing a lot of miles and you've got to eat a lot!). The town isn't the busiest of places but for what we were doing this was a spot of comfort that was really welcomed.
