Apartments Junger Moritz 

We spent 3 nights at the Ferienwohnung Junger-Moritz. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. After a week or so living in hotel rooms, it was a pleasure to have a separate bedroom and living room as well as a small dining area and full kitchen. Our apartment was the one bedroom, street facing, ground-floor unit. We had no issues with street noise. The street isn’t that busy and the outer shutters automatically close each evening and reopen in the morning. The apartment kitchen was well-appointed so we opted to eat in one evening. The Edeka supermarket is just a short walk from the apartment. All the Erfurt alt stadt attractions and restaurants are within easy walking distance. I even found a great craft beer bar/store, Der Bier Rufer, just down the street! I had read a couple earlier reviews that mentioned the Wi-Fi wasn’t particularly good, but when we were there (September 2017) I had no issues, even uploading a hundred or so pictures from the day. Neither Frau nor Herr Görlich speak much English, but don’t let that put you off. They are very friendly and manage very well to get the necessary communication across. All in all I would recommend Ferienwohnung Junger-Moritz if you want to visit the old town attractions in Erfurt. Thee apartments are convenient, clean, well-appointed and close to everything.
