Hotel Ještěd 

My partner and I stayed here in a retro room and would highly recommend it. We spent a few days in Prague and caught the Regiojet coach to Liberec, really easy. Got a taxi to the hotel from Liberec, took us right to the door. Reception was very friendly and tolerated my poor attempts at Czech 😁. Internally it is as stunning as the photographs. I thought the balance of retro and modern functionality in the rooms was excellent and for an old building the maintenance was very well done. Views from the rooms and indeed out anywhere is stunning. You have a table reserved for evening meal and breakfast automatically in a different section of the restaurant to visitors. The food (recommend the Mouflon and Gingerbread Mousse) and wine were both excellent and you dine looking over Liberec. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. One thing that would have been great would have been a quick tour of the behind the scenes places, although I guess I could have asked and they may have shown me. Breakfast is a very nice buffet. I notice that when looking at the listing for this hotel it said "Similar Hotels Available", believe me there is nothing else like this anywhere. We are already looking to come again, it was that good.
